Seman Hotel

Stayed here for two nights in October 2018 and we had to say that this place surpassed our expectation!! When we first booked it, we were quite skeptical since most reviews mentioned that the hotel is dated and has seen better days. However, we decided to just give it ago. True enough, the hotel is dated and has definitely seen better days. That being said, we had a very comfortable stay, for the room we got was clean and tidy, complete with hot shower, which were all we need after a long day! We couldn't ask for more for the price we paid - CNY150/night including breakfast. Breakfast was nothing fancy and choices were limited but it was good enough to fill up our tummies to start the day. Staff were friendly too and were helpful to share with us info about moving around the city. Location wise, it's not exactly in the heart of the town, but it is a comfortable 20-minute walk to the old city, which really doesn't seem that far. Otherwise, you can always take bus no. 22 from the bus stop (name of the stop: 一中）right across the road from the hotel to Id Kah Mosque. There are plenty of places for food nearby. In a nutshell, a highly recommended place to stay! p/s: I didn't give it a 5 star rating as I think the hotel could do a bit more on the landscaping (the hotel sits within a fairly big compound) to make the place more appealing. ;-)
