Kashgar Old Town Youth Hostel

Good location, very near with the entrance of the old city that is guarded with police. Like someone said 'it's hard to find but once you spot it you can never missed it' We were one of those bewildered travelers arriving in the middle of the night and anxious over the amount of the polices along the dark streets, but a local tailor next door showed us the right way. Once you opened the door you'll find the warmest people inside lol the place to be because most travelers who come to Kashgar stay here. Since tours can get pretty pricey now it's the best place to find someone to join you to split the costs. Basic facilities but one thing stand out is the water hose in the toilets >.< it's a luxury in China so I appreciate it very much. I stayed in an 8 bed dorm, 2nd floor, far side. It's not properly locked at night but I don't feel anything unsafe. During my stay there was a blackout once. The staff are multilingual so don't worry too much about communication.
