Tulip Inn Shangmo

We only spent one night here after flying to Jiuzhaigou Airport for which it is very convenient. Our room was good and the converted house it was in was handy enough for the restaurant where we had breakfast. Breakfast was OK but heavily towards Chinese guests and not non-Chinese; I am not a morning person so a wider choice would have been welcome and may come in future. The staff had very limited mastery of English but our guide sorted check-in etc but we could have had problems without her or if we had encountered problems when she had gone for the night. Hopefully more non-Chinese guests will lead to a better level of English among the staff. The beds are a bit firm for our Western tastes....
