Excellent
16 reviewsStayed here for three nights after being walked out from first hostel due to online booking glitch with Booking.com. Was grateful that the first hostel referred Daisy Hostel as alternative. Love the warm hospitality provided by the owner and staff. Was given a room with a balcony. Assisted on bookings for return train ticket back to Shanghai, the light show, tips on local attractions. Hostel is located in the greenery but not too far away from the West Lake. Would stay here again if returning to Hangzhou.

China has restrictions on geographic information data and uses a data blurring algorithm that adds random offsets to latitude and longitude data for national security purposes. According to a notice from the Hangzhou Municipal Traffic Management Department, the West Lake Scenic Area will implement odd-even license plate restrictions for passenger cars from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends and statutory holidays from September to November 2025. In addition to complying with the West Lake Scenic Area's odd-even restrictions, limited access will be implemented to the Lingyin District and Nanshan Road (from Yanggong Dike to Yuhuangshan). You must apply for a "West Lake Pass" one day in advance through channels such as "Police Uncle," Zhejiang Liban, or Alipay. This code allows you to enter the restricted areas. Please contact the hotel with any questions. |
