Shu Hostel

The friendly and helpful owner, Miao, and his staff run a really nice hostel in Guiyang. Dorms are clean and comfortable with great bathrooms and strong WiFi throughout. Can walk to qianling park in 20 or 30 minutes, dining options nearby, and a whole bunch of fruit sellers on the main road right out front. I arrived at Guiyang north station and took bus 261 which has a stop pretty much across the street from the hostel. 261 runs between the 2 railway stations so should also be able to hop on that bus coming from the main Guiyang station to get to the hostel. The hostel building is grey with lots of big Windows along the front across the first and third floors, you can see it from the main road but its not extremely obvious how to get to it. It's right next to a wood paneled restaurant and accessed from a pedestrian footpath that parallels the main road on top of the retaining wall. There are stairs up to this footpath next to the fruit sellers on the street or from the sidewalk next to the wood paneled building.
