I travelled to so many places and stayed fantastic 5/6 star hotels across the globe. And I am confidently say that you would not be disappointed by this hotel if you want to have a relaxing weekend. My initial communication with the reservation team was frustrating as I did not get a reply from them and booking.com said the hotel cannot take my card - I was told by a hotel staff that it has hard time to charge on foreign card before we check in. We stayed in the cheapest room - well, still over £300 level, but it has the highest level of the rooms at other 5 star hotels. I am quite a picky customer who has been spoiled by great resorts I stayed before, but I can say that this hotel has a quality and excellence. The hotel has a massive estate which has a huge museum with private collection - almost Shanghai museum level, really neat hot springs - not cheesy ones which you can find in many hot spring hotels in China, nice spa, and amazing room and villas. You can hire bike and ride around as the estate is huge!! We could not play golf, but their club house was most extravagant we have ever seen. We were so impressed by the quality of the hotel that we even searched internet to learn about the owner.
