Apollo Regalia Hotel & Resort

A large hotel with a maze of corridors to guest rooms. The entrance lobby is very grand with huge golden art wall mural and large intricately craft teak wooden furniture surrounding a large water feature. The reception is the left side of the lobby. The access to the lift is hidden in some corner. I nearly lost in the maze of corridor looking for my room. There are internal courtyards within the hotel ground where most of the rooms faced if you did not book with lake view facing room. The room is very spacious. The bath room comes with bath tube and shower facilities. Breakfast is standard Chinese as it caters to local tourists. There are no eatery nearby but you can take a pleasant walk along the lake-side walkway fronting the hotel to a huge plaza about 500m away at the edge of the lake to find some restaurants. Beware of drivers in front of the hotel offering and overcharging to take you to Yueyang tower and other interesting places
