I missed my flight and the airline took several of the passengers to the Celebrity Hotel. I wasn't expecting much because airlines don't like to spend money. I was very surprised by everything. The inside was, architecturally speaking very elegant, with a 1920's flare. I was probably the only western they had, had in the hotel in several years due to Covid. But, everyone was eager to help and try out their english speaking skills which I found very heartwarming. I don't like to compare but, while in China I found the staff and manager on duty to be the most friendly, and helpful from all the others. I would definitely give the Celebrity City Hotel my business again and would encourage others to at least walk in and look around. Oh, I almost forget one of the most important things of my stay, and that was the food. Words can not describe the flavors and selections they offered. If you like spicy Asian culinary delights, you will love the food. I would go out of my way to stay again!
