Excellent
100 reviewsI loved every minute at the Happy Dragon Hotel during my stay in Beijing. Tucked in the Shijia Hu Tong, the hotel is a 2min walk from Chaoyangmen Street. We had the double bedroom which was nice and cozy, spacious beds, a nice little fridge, great wifi and fantastic power shower. Every single member of the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful, from advices on how to get to the Great Wall of China to activate my WeChat, Candice, Zoey, Maya and the rest of the team went above and beyond! They really makes us feel welcomed and they made our stay memorable! There is a nice breakfast/dining space with free coffee and water - and the coffee is really nice too! They also have regular activities in there so even if you travel solo it seems to be a great spot to socialise and meet people. I loved staying in a Hu Tong, experiencing and seeing the daily life of the neighbours and having interactions with them was great. Loads of nice restaurants on the main road (Chaoyangmen) and a convenient 7 Eleven and also a short walk from the vibrant Dong Dan. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip do Beijing.
