Tucked away in a quiet street in the Yungay barrio, this little jewel is a delight to stay at. It's almost a museum with so many beautiful pieces of antique ! Rooms are located around an open-air patio, have very comfortable beds and bathrooms. Really everything you need is available. And spotlessly clean ! The subway is just 2 blocks away - in a matter of a couple of minutes you're in the heart of the city. The owner Francisco goes out of his way to make you feel welcome, comfortable and safe. He even accompanied me on a morning birding in the nearby Parque Quinto Normal. We both enjoyed the antics of the plentiful Monk Parakeets. When I go back to Santiago, I will not hesitate to stay with Francisco again !
