H-Boutique Tren Del Sur Santiago

Stayed in a double room, for two nights with my husband and would highly recommend it. Location: easy walking distance to the funicular and lots of restaurants, within 10 minutes of front door. About 30 mins cab from main airport - we found the orange cabs which fill multiple passengers into their minibuses was the best value - TransVIP I think they're called ( 2 pp cost only 11,000). Rooms: chalet chic. Really comfortable, soft white bedding, huge beds, fresh towels, hot powerful shower, strong free wifi connection, no complaints whatsoever. Breakfast: plentiful and delicious: muesli, cereal, toast, ham, cheese, eggs, coffee. Nothing seems to be too much for them. Hospitality: this family run home/hotel is so welcoming. The owner Mario helped enormously with our travel logistics through to ordering a pizza! We loved this place - such excellent value for all you get and an exceptionally friendly family. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and would love to visit again, once snow falls in the mountains! Thank you.
