Although I have not stayed at this hostel I wanted to write about the helpful service they gave us. Six of us arrived in Punta Arenas recently one Sunday afternoon to discover that there were no available bus tickets to Puerto Natal that day. It was important for us to get there because our accommodation was booked and our hiking trip was planned. Alexis and his brother spent a very long time making many phone calls to find someone available to drive us there. Through their persistence they managed to find the driver of a mini bus willing to take us. The round trip is several hundred kilometres long and the weather was terrible with sleet and snow. Their act of kindness made a huge difference to us.
