Hostal Entre Avenidas Punta Arenas Chile

From the outside this place doesn't look like much: a residential house on a quiet street with an 'Entre Avenidas' sign on the front lawn. But inside you are greeted by the friendly owner who speaks excellent English and has set up a lovely little place here, it is really more like a small hotel than a "hostal". My room and bathroom were on the smaller side but with modern fixtures and great hotel amenities such as high quality toiletries, towels, a safe-box, flat screen TV, and decent Wifi internet connection. The photos on this Tripadvisor review must be outdated since the bathroom in them looks old, while the bathroom I had in my room was super modern and nice. A great breakfast is included with real coffee and a good selection of breads, cereals, fruit, eggs, etc. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is that the walls are a bit thin and you can hear when other guests are arriving or speaking in the hallway. Luckily this was no big issue since everyone was very respectful and the place was quiet from 9pm onward. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.
