Bed & Breakfast Miriam

Manuel and miraim work so hard here to make sure you are comfortable and looked after.  The rooms are comfortable although small, our rooms did not have windows and our two rooms shared a bathroom.  Plenty of communal areas to sit in.   Breakfast was simple but adequate.  Off road parking available at night.  Good value.  

Miriam and Manuel are the friendliest hosts you can dream to find. The breakfast there feels like going to a nice brunch every morning. Miriam and Manuel make sure you feel like if you were at home. The rooms are located in indepent areas, which means that it is like being at your own house. When I return to Punta Arenas, I will stay at Miriam's!

Beautiful house and big room. We were four friends visiting here to catch our flight back to Santiago. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are spotless. The best part is that it feels like home. The owners Emanuel and Miriam are adorable. Miriam does not speak English but she is extremely helpful. Emanuel speaks English a little bit. Both are amazing hosts. 
If I am coming to punta arenas again I am going to stay no where else except here.
 

Miriam and Manuel are welcoming hospitable hosts. Staying at Miriam's Hospedaje is like staying at someone's house. A welcome tea on arrival. Great recommendations for activities you'd like to do. Manuel speaks a little English, if you know a little Spanish you can certainly get by. Miriam is a cheerful person and attentive to your needs. Their house is well located making it easy to get around they city.

Both Miriam and Manuel were excellent and very helpful hosts creating friendly family atmosphere - It reminds me visits of my grandparents a long time ago. They also helped us with calling to travel agency. Simple but  nice breakfast. The temperature in the room could be slightly higher.

My partner and I stayed at Miriam's hospedaje for 1 night as a layover for heading toward Torres del Paine national park.  We were warmly greeted by Miriam on arrival and shown to our room.  The rooms are an extension of Miriam's home, where the upstairs and the back are used as the guest rooms and the lounge room and dining rooms the common areas.  Once we were settled we were also given a very lovely recommendation for dinner in a nearby restaurant which turned out to be a very good dinner spot. 

As other reviewers have mentioned, you won't get a key for your room - the stay is very much like staying with a local family.  Miriam and her husband will wait for you if you are out at night and open the door for you on return.  

Miriam and her husband only speak Spanish - this was not a problem for us as we speak it however I mention this only because it may become difficult to communicate with them.

Breakfast is a simple affair - toast and cheese and some different meats and small cakes.  It was sufficient for me however my partner was still hungry after.

The only thing about our stay that was a little disappointing for us was the room itself. We had asked for a double bed configuration however the room was a twin set up.  There also wasn't really a curtain in the room so light came streaming in early.  The beds are so-so in terms of comfort.

Staying here was sufficient for an overnight stay, if you are passing through Punta Arenas and not staying long then Bed and Breakfast Miriam is a convenient enough place to stay
