Stayed here for four nights with a friend in a twin room. The hotel has loads of character with some great artefacts dotted around, don’t know much about its history but it’s definitely an interesting building- inside and out. The hotel is in a great location with supermarket a couple of minutes walk away and bar underneath with good terrace and food/beer/cocktails. Also very close to main town shops / restaurants. We also used the car hire place downstairs so everything was very convenient. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Basic breakfast but it’s fine.
