108 reviewsMy boyfriend and I were traveling for almost 2 months through Patagonia and when we stayed at Mamahostels, it felt like a travel break, like coming home. After so many overpriced but below average hospedajes with cold rooms and unequipped kitchens, we felt so lucky and relieved to spent our days at Mamahostels: As a low budget traveling couple you can't always afford to get double rooms, so we went for the dorms and guess what, it was the best desicion! For 10mil pp we slept next to each other and had curtains around our double bed area like everyone else, too. You have an access to a very nice balcony, if it's cold the heater is on. You have a very clean and well-equipped kitchen with many free spices, a large commom area with plenty of things to do in case you have to kill boredom. But above all, you have the lovely Patricia as the owner. After all it is her with her welcoming manner that makes you feel like home. She's always happy to help and accommodate you. If I'll ever go back to beautiful Puerto Varas, I know where I will staying! :)
