Hostel was pretty quiet when we stayed there as it was still low season. The hostel is relatively new so all the rooms are clean and well maintained including the bathroom and kitchen. Fairly good price as well. Apparently the area is a bit dodgy so not recommended for walking about at night especially if you're travelling on your own.

As we arrived in the hostel we found a closed door, the staff was away at the moment, after ringing and waiting about half an hour, we could finally get in the hostel. The staff was really nice and friendly. He appologized for not beeing there when we've arrived.

The double room with bathroom was clean and very nice.
Bed was comfortable and breakfast was simple but for the price good.



This hostel is gorgeous. It's new and clean and spacious. My husband and I stayed here in a private room with our own bathroom, the rooms are basic but we don't need a lot. We had wifi in our room, they do laundry for you at a cost and breakfast was great. When we stayed it was very quiet and not a lot of people around to be sociable with, there were also families with children staying there. However we were looking for a quiet hostel and had been recommend this place. It isn't right in the heart of everything but we didn't mind walking and getting the buses. The staff spoke great english and were very helpful. Would stay here again and would recommend.

Quiet hostel!

Great hostel

Clean and new hostel

I stayed here for 1 night in a single ensuite room. The hostel is located within 5 minute walk to the bus terminal, but it is about 15 minute walk to the city's main square and further 10 minutes to the old harbour buildings. The hostel was quiet at time I stayed and my room overlooked the street which wasn't noise. The hostel is in an old building so the ceiling is high and spacious. It is on the 2nd floor of the building.

The staff was friendly and provided some information on where to take buses and key attractions. My single room is basic with a small clean washroom. There is a sizable common sitting area at the front of the hostel with balcony overlooking the street. Kitchen facilities was available and I made my dinner here.  Wifi speed was average.

In view of its location to bus terminal, it is worth staying here, but you need to prepare to take bus or a long walk to the city center.

Close to bus terminal but far from attractions in city center

I stayed at B Side House for 3 days during the new years and was a terrible experience. The location is bad, 20 minutes walking from the more tourist part where most hostels are. The staff although friendly, did not know anything about the city and main tourist attractions. The house is old, so the floor is noisy, and the staff walk during the entire night. The bathroom had many problems. The WiFi didn't worked when many people try to connect. The price that we paid for the new year was expensive and we had a horrible experience. Do not recommend.
