Todos los ciudadanos de Chile, independientemente de la duración de su estadía, y todos los extranjeros que permanezcan en el país al menos 60 días consecutivos pueden tener que pagar el impuesto nacional sobre las ventas (19 %) al registrar la salida. Para obtener una exención de impuestos, los ciudadanos extranjeros deben, al ingresar, pagar su estadía en moneda extranjera (no en pesos chilenos) y presentar un pasaporte válido junto con la tarjeta de migración que recibieron al entrar en el país. Si una persona sujeta al pago del impuesto y otra exenta de este comparten habitación, la tarifa podrá aplicarse a toda la habitación.

Please note credit card payments will incur an additional fee of 4%. LOCAL TAX LAW. Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won't be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately. If an incident were to occur within the Avenida Kennedy Apartment property, we will not be responsible for it.
