Very good, the best place to be, the best service ever. I recommend highly. The host is very helpful and always there to help you. The rooms are clean and very spacious, with terrasse and private bathrooms.

This is a great place if you're looking for peace and quiet. It is a bit far from downtown Porto Novo to walk (especially at night), so you need to use a taxi or rental car to get there.
It is a wonderful spot, the only thing you hear is the crashing of the surf on the beach. There is a small, unheated, swimming pool with lounge chairs. Perfect for relaxing.
The room is spacious with a good bathroom (although there is more hot water for the shower in the afternoon than in the morning). The bed is a mattress on concrete, but OK.
Breakfast is OK with both sweet and savory items, but fresh fruit is lacking. Nice to have breakfast with seaview.
The family keeps to themselves, at least if you are not French.
There is also a possibility to eat there, which we did not try as we love eating at the Italian restaurant (La Lampara) in Porto Novo too much.
The Wifi works well in the patio, not so well (or not at all) in the room or by the pool.

Beautiful isolated location

About 30 minutes on foot from porto novo or a few minutes and 2 to 4 euro by taxi. Friendly guests, beautiful house on the beach, breakfast very nice and for 9 euro you can eat in the evening ( salad, main course, dessert, water, wine and coffee included) . You can rent a quad (3).

Perfect quiet place

In general a good experience. Stayed with two friends for one night.

The mattress in the bunkbed room is not worthy of being called a mattress. I had the worst night ever and it felt like I slept on a concrete floor. Even though I used the second 5cm thick foam mattress on top of mine. The owners told us they will buy real mattresses. It really needs a 30cm thick mattress because the whole bunk bed is made of concrete.  Wouldn't recommend sleeping in the bunk bed room if there are no new mattresses yet. Check with the owners. 

There is only a mosquito net at the entrance of the bunk bed room, not for the separate beds, meaning I got stung four times by mosquitoes.  

The weird western doors at the bunk bed entrance are not nice. They don't give you any privacy and they slam into you (which hurts!) when you open/close them. 

The bunk bed room is incredibly warm, it def needs a fan. Only the large double room has a fan. If I would have stayed longer and asked the owners I am sure though they would have given theirs as they are really nice :).

The owners do not speak a word of English. Like nothing. Only French. They depend on their daughter and Google Translate for translation. 

The toilet was dirty upon arrival

If the owners have changed the mattresses into 30cm newer ones, bought an extra fan and changed the mosquito nets; please do stay here!! :) 

The food is great, the beach and swimming pool are amazing and there is literally no one. It is like a deserted little paradise.
