Fashion Beach Club

We had a wonderful week here - Melany and the staff, including the two young ladies who provided excellent massages, were attentive and helpful and the hotel was a perfect size for us. The staff kept the grounds and room spotless (the housekeeping and ground staff work hard to maintain the area) and the location was just right for us, tucked away from, but easily and safely a short walk into, the main part of Santa Maria. We were very fortunate to be given the suite on the ground floor and loved the view and privacy it afforded. Any queries we had were handled professionally and promptly. We enjoyed our breakfasts with a range of options, including fresh fruit and a variety of different baked goods. We also enjoyed the frequent live musicians who performed in the evenings. (Just to mention the sparrows can be a little intrusive around the restaurant during breakfast but we quickly learnt not to leave our food unattended and to avoid further encouraging them by feeding them!) Its a few minutes walk to a sandy beach and bar, with plenty of windsurfing options etc and the sea was clear and the perfect temperature! The hotel pool was bracing to get in to but refreshing, very clean and never felt too busy at any point during our stay, with plenty of sunbeds and loungers around the pool area and overlooking the sea - great for cooling down as part of the relaxing days we enjoyed. We researched and went to a few of the smaller restaurants, including one which brewed craft beer in town and the brilliant Art Kafe just a few streets away from the hotel. Much needed winter sunshine and relaxation - brilliant.
