Amazing, Joyful Place to Stay A True "Easy stop on the road" Trustworthy - Promises come true Convenient Location!! Southern part of Winnipeg. At the intersection of two main roads - St. Mary's Road and Dakota Street. 13 minute drive or 29 minute bus ride from the Forks Market, Union Station, Canadian Museum of Human Rights. 8 minute drive or 25 minute bus ride to Southdale Mall near Royal Canadian Mint. 3 minute walk to St. Vital Centre. Amazing Manager!! Joseph D. is the most amazing manager I have ever met. He is excellent in problem-solving and client relationship building. He explained clearly the benefits of joining the Choice Priviledge program, room arrangement, and breakfast's waffle in the making. He is knowledgeable and humble, patient, efficient and helpful. Happy, Fresh Waffle Breakfast!! A whole set of 2 kinds of Waffle Makers with 2 kinds of batter with syrup was available. Guests could make their own waffles fresh and crispy. Closed and rotated. The timer automatically started and would sound after 2.5 minutes or 3 minutes, depending on which maker you used - the Waffle Baker or the Baker. I was a first timer. Choice Food with Lots of Choices!! Various kinds of juice, tea, coffee. Hot water, cold water. Multiple types of muffin, bread, begal. Strawberry jam, orange marmalade, peanut butter, butter... Sugar cane was available. The hard boiled eggs were without eggshells. Green apples and small oranges were in the little fridge. Yogurt! Cereal and more. Clean and Comfort Room!! Room attendants were highly detail-oriented. From the folding display of the towels to every supply of little bottles of lotion. Even the remote control was with a little plastic bag for hygiene purpose. Bed and bath were excellent. Carpet was always clean without stains. Lighting was warm and comfortable for the eyes. Bedside table lamp with charger base was with white fabric shade. Sofas were super comfortable. Last note: What had been promised here was the reality. It was definitely over my expectation! The designer and management team were very thoughtful and detail-oriented on every part of the overall whole customer experience design. Thank you for providing this safe, warm, welcoming place! What an absolute delight! Truly amazing with human touch! 6 star Econo Lodge!!!
