This is a nice West Kelowna location away from the noise.  Some condos need updating as they are privately owned.  It is a great location for walks and right on a private beach, close to the highway for easy access to other areas in the valley

Quiet spot

Great location and accommodations - plus the hosts were amazing!

Family vacation with my 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren.  The unit was perfect for all of us as was the resort. 
Shannon was awesome to deal with and very thoughtful and considerate.

Great location!

I rented here in the Autumn and I wish I had stayed somewhere else. The place looks like the photos. Very beautiful and in a great location. Keep in mind that most places in West Kelowna are great locations. The strata and management were terrible. We spent over 8 days without water. These things happen but the issue could have been managed better. This happened on  3 separate occasions! The strata rules, politics, management and owners make this a place to avoid. Children were not welcome despite any warning about this. Charges for strata bylaw infractions are a money grab. They spent no time trying to resolve or solve issues. They would charge individuals for perceived infractions based on ownership and favoritism. Stay here if you don't mind going somewhere else to use a toilet and stepping in dog poo while being charged for rule infractions like drying a towel on a balcony while surrounded by a beautiful lake and pretentious snobs. Quiet time is not 11pm - 7am despite what they say.

Traveler, Renter and Buyer beware

Was a good accommodation but if you're planning on golfing on the Kelowna side of the lake then would not recommend this venue as traffic issues come into play. Pool and hot tub very nice as was the beach area. Lots of wineries in the area if you're prone to tours. 

A family golf trip to Kelowna was okay..

We stayed here in a three bedroom booked through CanadaStays.  It was a great place, big and updated.  Great for families.  I thought that the recycle area was confusing.  Dogs are not allowed for short term rentals. Our u it was clean and big. No adult only time in the pool but it was pretty empty early in the am.

Nice place, nice pool and beach - lots of kids

My husband and I rented a 1-bedroom unit for a mini vacation. The unit was spotless, well-appointed and quiet. The grounds are well kept. Pool area clean with plenty of seating. Beach area and docks too. We had parking right in front of our unit. No complaints and would gladly return.

They allow cutting grass trimming trees at 8am!!!
No parking if u dare to park any where your car gets towed !!
Rude staff! No hot tub open in the winter

Terrible place !!!

We have been going to Barona Beach for 4 years now with our teenage children . We love the location and the fact that we can dock our boat right there .
The resort is very family friendly and all of our experiences have been positive .

Summer Holiday

Nice place. Limited second vehicle parking. Underground parking for some units. Good proximity to Save On Foods, Walmart, etc. Small beach with sand. The fitness room is well equipped. Pool and hot tub are decent enough. 

Summer holidays

We have been going to Barona Beach every summer since 2011 with our 2 kids, who were 6 months and 3 years old respectively when we started going and have always had a great time. Sometimes we go for a week, sometimes for 10 days. It is quiet and relaxing. The only complaint is the cooling system doesn’t work as well as we’d like at keeping the place cool, which was especially evident the year we rented a 4th floor place. Moved back to the third floor unit the following year and it was better. The day we arrive, we get groceries at Superstore and spend most of the week hanging out at the pool with occasional excursions off site. We were never kept up by noise or awakened by noise at night. It’s a great place for a family vacation and to veg out. I wish they would allow pets again but I understand why they don’t.
