The Diane and her sweet husband Harold have once again been the most amazing hosts. Sadly they have sold the hotel but for those of you travelling through Clinton, BC never fear!! They are taking over a campground there! Harold will have his fish and chip truck set up and The Diane will be present in all of her beautiful glory! Can't wait to stop by on our way to the coast or on our way back. Thank you for all of your years of hospitality and amazingness Diane and Harold! We love you ❤️ Suzzanna

Most wonderful stay as always

Clean motel right on the hwy leading to Barkerville, which is only 5 minutes down the highway by vehicle.

Room was spacious, with a queen bed in a separate room, 2 twin beds in the main area for the kiddos.  TV is on the small side, but full channel compliment and a DVD player with 100's of DVD's to choose from in the office, which are complimentary.

The property also operates a fish and chip food truck at the front of the motel. The kids had dinner there one night and said it was really good.

This place is dog friendly.  Would stay here again.

2 Night stay visiting Barkerville

Friendly reception upon arrival with offering of freshly baked cookies.  Coarse gravel in front of rooms made it difficult to maneuver our heavy motorcycles, but the lady gave us boards to put under our kickstands.  Very dated, but clean and comfortable room.  Close to Barkerville, so it worked fine for us.  I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.l

Clean, quiet older motel.

The motel is clean and the hospitality is great,we have stayed there twice, thelady is very accomadating. Would recomend it. We were very satisfied with our stay. It is a nice quiet place.It is close to resturants.

Motel

My self and a couple of friends made the snowmobile trip from Ispha Lake on the Buckhorn road outside of Prince George to Wells on the weekend and stayed at the Hubs. It was our first time in the area in the winter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hubs. The hosts were warm and welcoming and had some good information on the local trails. The room was clean, quite and reasonably priced. Being able to ride right to the motel and fuel station across the road at the Jack of clubs added to the adventure. A very nice little community that has done a lot of work to make it a magical place to visit. Some place I will be returning to!

You'll want to go back!!

It's a nice, very clean motel near Barkerville. The best ones are Diane and her husband! They helped us out very nicely and organized a delicious dinner very easily. Diane's support (a real treasure) was great and the cookies included were also very delicious. Thank you Diane! Sabine and Tom.

It's a nice place to escape.

We stayed here before our boat trip to the Bowron Lakes, it was perfect, and the lady who runs the motel is a gold mine, and we wanted to stay there again after the tour, but it was already full.

It's perfect.

Simple, clean and quiet motel. Very friendly staff. There are always very delicious cookies. Absolutely reasonable price/responsibility. Ideal for a visit to Barkerville. Barkerville is a must for people with some interest in the history of North America.

Clear recommendation

Wells is very conveniently located in the museum town of Barkerville. The place is very small and quiet. We were very friendlyly received at the motel and were offered homemade cookies. We had a simple, bright, comfortable and very clean room with two double beds. Wells and Barkerville are quite remote, but the long trip was definitely worth it!
