We had a family get-together at Smokey Hollow and it was an excellent experience. The owners were wonderful to deal with and the pavilion was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space to accommodate everyone, the kitchen was well-appointed and the location was perfect. The rooms were cozy, clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We spent one night in the pavilion suite. It was tastefully decorated and exactly as pictured on the website. We enjoyed the bbq grill and lovely view out the big windows. Beautiful landscaping outside. Extremely clean, and lots of useful amenities like ample plugs for charging devices, bath products, recycling bin, and kitchenette that allowed for simple meal prep. Annik contacted us to let us know that our suite was ready for early check-in if desired. Service was caring and friendly. Pride of ownership was everywhere in this business. If only it were more common that motels/resorts were built and run with such care and attention to detail! This place is a standout. Highly recommend.

had a great weekend stay with family at the Smokey Hollow motel in Onanole. This place is a lot more than a motel. In the back you'll find a heated swimming pool, fire pit area, and a beautiful gathering pavilion. The rooms are updated and clean. They also have a really nice large cabin to rent as well. The place is owned by two couples that are very caring to your needs and are willing to accommodate you whenever needed. A great place to rent for family gatherings, corporate events, etc. Don't let the frontage view question your choice. Walk to the back yard and enjoy the amenities.

Great place to host a reunion. Close proximity to Riding Mountain National Park. My wife and I enjoyed a well-priced, simple king bedroom with walk-out access to the well-appointed "Pavillion" (rentable for groups and events). Great indoor/outdoor space with a large fire pit. ((LOL- we played spikeball on the hotel lawn with some new friends!!!))  Great customer service,  good quality bedding and linen. Clean and comfortable.
Mini fridge, microwave were nice features, too.

An amazing  little gem with beautiful. Rooms and grounds. Probably the most accommodating  owners I have ever seen. This will be our new hide away vacation .to those with bad attitudes or negative reviews   about this place u are so wrong. Thank u   Smokey  hollow  for letting us stay at  your hidden gem

Spent a few days at Smokey Hollow resort. The rooms are small,,, but clean and fresh. The grounds are very well kept with a nice swimming pool. Management are very friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay. I have stayed at this motel a few times. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms exquisitely clean. I always have a restful quiet sleep. The grounds in the back are incredible, a hidden jewel, so beautiful. I enjoy strolling the Gardens with my morning coffee.  The pool and decking are always well-maintained. There are good restaurants and stores close by.

This motel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is just a few minutes drive to the park entrance. It was a great economical choice for an accommodation when visiting Riding Mountain National Park.

I only spent 1 night but was greeted by very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are small but very clean. beautiful scenery ( close to the clear lake park entrance). rooms have small deck with chairs out side the back doors. Supplies were limited to 1 small bar of soap in the room no shampoos, tissue etc. Coffee was available at the office upon request. Beds were clean and comfortable. I would return for a longer visit and recommend this hotel price was good when I went not sure if it changes depending on peak season.

Thanks Smokey Hollow for a great 2-night stay! My boyfriend and I enjoyed my 2-night stay at Smokey Hollow, and I would stay again. We paid $223 for 2 nights on the long weekend, which was quite reasonable in comparison to other locations. This is a motel, not a "resort". The website is fairly outdated, as there are no condos, there was no air conditioning, and there was no hot tub (it is still there, but it is empty and non-functional). Apart from those "negative" things, we were very happy with the cleanliness of the rooms (clean bedsheets, room made up again after the first night, clean towels, clean carpet), having a mini-fridge and television in the room, and the friendly staff we dealt with via telephone and in-person (such nice and helpful people!!). The bed was very comfortable (a double bed), and the windows were functional (to get a good breeze, since there was no A/C). The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the pool seemed clean! It is SO close to Riding National Park, can't beat the location! If you are indeed expecting a "resort", this is not a resort, however, if you are looking for a very clean place with a comfortable bed and functional shower, toilet, mini-fridge, television, and beautiful grounds - this is it. I would stay here again.
