Beautiful B & B with wonderful hosts! Highly recommended. Will definitely be back

This was a beautiful Inn within walking distance of the border with Derby Line, Vermont. The owner was friendly and accommodating. My room was elegant. The grounds were beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. There is no restaurant but I received a 10% discount at Le Tomifobia, a wonderful place close by. All in all a great Quebec experience a stone's throw from the border.

My husband and I stayed here for one night after completing our Global Entry Pass interview in Derby Line Vermont.  The grounds were absolutely gorgeous with a nice big garden and very old fashioned authentic touches.  The room that we rented included a very large soaking tub which I took full advantage of and a private balcony.  The balcony was a highlight as it overlooked the beautiful garden and provided the relaxing sound of the little pond below as well.  Additionally the room was very clean and the water pressure was outstanding.  I believe my husband and I may have been the only ones there this particular evening as the grounds were very quite and we did not see anyone aside for the gentlemen owner.  He was very nice although English was his second language which seemed to be somewhat challenging for him so we did not talk much but he was happy to answer any questions and provided recommendations for nearby restaurants.  The breakfast was great and ready just when we had indicated we would be ready.  Overall I would love to go back.  Only downside was the internet which seemed to be some what weak.  Do not expect to use your devices for videos as that may be a challenge and beware if you have children that there is no television (at least not in our room) but that was fine with us as it forced us to unplug and relax. Also there is no fridge in the room but there is one provided downstairs in the dinning room that the guests are welcome to use which was a bonus.

After a five hour drive to Canada, this B&B was right over the border.  Our family of 4 (kids ages 11 & 12) fit comfortably in the large room with two beds.  There was also a big soaking tub and private balcony!  Breakfast was excellent.  Building and gardens so attractive, and very nice hosts too!  Highly recommend.

This adorable b&b is absolutely amazing. From service to rooms to breakfast, we felt welcomed the moment we stepped through the door. The room was a nice size, with a large bath. The breakfast was delicious. Will definitely come back!

There was no TV in the room, and the area is fairly off the beaten track - but the service was excellent, the area lovely and the breakfast delicious.

We loved this hidden gem! The atmosphere is magical. Beautiful art fills this historical house.

Stop on away to Quebec City

We stopped here on our way to Quebec City. We had a bit of trouble finding the place because it was raining hard. The sign is not easy to see and the driveway entrance is very narrow. (The shrubs could be trimmed a bit!) The house is very large. While it is historically old, the furnishings are tastefully contemporary. We had two flights of stairs to get to our room. It was a bit unusual to have a bed facing backward, but it was the only way it would fit with the slopped ceiling. The room was clean with a freestanding tub w/ shower. In the morning, breakfast was nice. Not continental, but not too heavy either. We also learned a little bit of history about the property from our server. They also obliged us with some duct tape to keep our rental car's bumper from coming loose and flapping in the wind as we drove it! Thanks!

Just across the border

Great room on the second floor with lots of space, great windows, private deck, soaking tub and rain shower.  Beautiful garden. Breakfast was delicious.  Nice enough for a whiny guy who typically doesn't want to stay in someone's house - he couldn't find anything negative to say!  Caroline's decorating was fun and creative,.

Such a great place !

We stayed here for one night, just prior to returning to the US. We were immediately greeted upon our later arrival (9pm) and provided our room and information in regards to the B&B.  The place is finely decorated and our room was a welcomed delight.  It had air conditioning!

Breakfast was yummy+, and although you do not get a choice for breakfast, this did not matter to us, since the food was soo good.

Lastly, you do not need to reenter the highway to cross the boarder, just take a right out of the B&B and drive straight until you cross the stream, the boarder crossing is on you right and NO LINES.  Just be careful not to drive by it because it is a $5000 fine.

This B & B was very nice close to the facilities that we had business at, the staff was very pleasant, and accommodating  the room was a bit small but we had booked late, very clean, and the breakfast was very nice and presented well, We would recommend ,this B & B, to anyone going the Town of Stanstead, Quebec,  or in the vicinity,

Very Nice B & B

We stayed at B&B Cosy for one night, while we were attending a celebration for a friend in Newport Vermont. We were dismayed when we pulled into the parking lot as dark fell to discover that one of the tires on our car was flat. Caroline, the very gracious and kind proprietor of the hotel, actually used her Canadian Automobile Association membership to get the tire changed quickly and without cost on a Saturday night when this small town seemed deserted. She also recommended a restaurant and called to make sure it would be open for our late arrival; it turned out to be very fine indeed. The room was lovely and very clean with a very comfortable bed. Caroline's breakfast the next morning was also excellent. This is an exceptional accomodation. We strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Stanstead Plain or the border towns of Vermont. It is worth the slight hassle of crossing from the US for no other reason than to stay here.

Clean, Quiet B&B with Truly Exceptional Service

Flight was delayed and did t arrive till late, no worries nice note welcoming us and telling us where room was. Had to leave earlier than the scheduled breakfast but they were very accommodating and crank out a delicious breakfast. Next time we need to go to stanstead college (across the street) we will be sure to stay here!

Comfy cozy b&b

I was away on business and this hotel made me feel like I was on a weekend getaway in the middle of the week!  It was so perfect that I forgot I was away for work. The hostess was so hospitable and accommodating from the moment I arrived to the moment I sadly had to leave.  She made me feel right at home.  The place is quite special and unique.  It has both a modern and old world charm to it. It's an 18th century house furnished with a contemporary look that's done just right.  Outside my window below was a waterfall or creek, which, the sounds were just transcending.  Breakfast was just perfect.  Once you had your first taste, it was obvious high quality ingredients were used.  And the presentation was off a cooking magazine cover.  Deliciously impressive!  Can't wait until I have to go back!!
