256 reviewsAs we drove down the driveway, we were greeted by this enormous, beautiful tree in the middle of the driveway. They’ve built the driveway around it and it is beautiful. We opened our vehicle doors and could hear the waves from the ocean. We arrived early to check out the lodge and were pleasantly surprised our room was ready early. Upon entering our room, you could see the ocean from the patio. It was so breathtaking! The room was supplied with everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The lodge is a nice location, far enough away so it was very quiet and peaceful and close to the lighthouse loop (a nice walking trail). We walked into town each night for dinner and it took about 20 minutes each way. When we walked home in the evening, we felt safe. The lodge has a private beach where you can have a fire if you wish. There were chairs and a sup board if you desired. I am new to writing reviews and upon staying at this lodge I decided to create an account and review it because this place deserves a five star recommendation. It is a truly tranquil and serene place. It is a place you could find yourself in if you needed to.
