Excellent B&B with everything as good as it could be. Outstanding breakfast and really comfortable room.The owners were friendly and welcoming and we could not have asked for more. Highly recommended.

We stayed three nights in this beautiful home.   The home is bright and filled with beautiful windows looking out over their lovely yard.  The very best part though are the hosts themselves.  Each morning along with other guests we sat at the breakfast table sharing life stories and good fellowship. Larry and Ann make you feel so at home and are very helpful with suggestions for the area.  The breakfast was great with lots of good home cooking.  We would definitely return if ever in the area.

Our stay at Tulip and Thistle, while brief, was most enjoyable.  The accomodations were well appointed, comfortable and clean.  We had our own bedroom with plenty of space and ensuite bathroom.  Our hosts were friendly, helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast.  If you have mobility issues, the bedrooms are up a flight of stairs, so that would be a consideration.  We would recommend this venue with certainty.

Loved our stay at this B&B. Ann and Larry made our six day stay with them very enjoyable. They gave us tips on the best routes to take for our daily trips. They are very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was always tasty with lots of options. It was nice to sit around the breakfast table chatting with our fellow travellers. Thanks Ann and Larry for making us feel at home. We would definitely stay here  again.

Outstanding in every respect.  We would stay there again in a heartbeat.  Great facilities, great breakfast featuring a choice of home cooked items.  Very gracious and informative hosts.

The home is lovely and clean, nice location. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Current owners are selling, so not sure how much longer this wonderful place will be available.

Excellent hospitality, accommodation, hot made-to-order breakfast, and recommendations for local restaurants.  A short 10-minute drive to the Truro Tidal Bore, a sight not to be missed when visiting Truro.  A most excellent value.  Highly recommended.

It is a very beautiful and very well kept house. Tha host couple is very friendly and are doing an extraodinaire fine breakfast. I your room you will find a lot of antikes, all collected with good tast.

Excellent place to stay the rooms are clean and tidy lots of hot water .very wonterful beds and quiet place to stay 
The owners are great and very helful . I would recommend everyone one to stay at this this place .

Exquisite accomodations and wonderful inn keepers. Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.  We stayed three nights and highly recommend this property. Breakfast each morning consisted of your choice of five (5) different options and you let them know the night before which one you want. Here's a tip.... one of the choices is the "keepers surprise". We did and it was wonderful. A first class bed and breakfast and we would defintely stay there again if in the Truro area.
