Spacy, comfortable, well-equipped, and nicely decorated rooms. Three large and functional shared bathrooms, making it unlikely that you have to wait for someone else. Large and well-equipped shared kitchen. A second WiFi access point has recently been installed, and the WiFi quality is now very good, suitable for doing serious work over the Internet. The owner, Gary, lives in the house himself and is very friendly and helpful (but please respect the check in and check out hours, he can't work all day round). Besides, he is an avid bicyclist and may have tips for you in that respect, too. In short, this is clearly above hostel quality and only slightly below hotel quality (due to the shared bathrooms and limited opening hours). It is much more comfortable, much nicer, and much less impersonal than the average countryside motel - and yet cheaper, and besides, you won't find a motel so close to downtown Toronto anyway. Definitely recommended, except for people who cannot climb stairs, and except for people who expect full hotel service.
