Chickadee Acres Bed & Breakfast

Our group of 3 stayed in two rooms August, 2016. John and Sandi, our genial hosts, welcomed us on arrival as we toured through the Smithers area. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beds offered an excellent night’s sleep. A breakfast menu was provided the night before. We had a lovely breakfast (mmmmmuffins, warm from the oven!) while watching various bird species and squirrels, indulge in the bird feeders on the patio. Anyone interested in birds, this is the place to be! Our hosts were very knowledgeable and offered their binoculars and extensive bird book library for our use. If you happen to miss sighting a local bird, no worries as John is an accomplished photographer with many pictures of local avian visitors. The hosts are proud of their area and are knowledgeable about its history, local events, and especially local fauna. Would definitely visit again. Woke up to the sound of birdsong!
