Fantastic, a definite go to hotel in Charlottetown.

The towels in the pool should be provided by the hotel. Other than that, everything was superb.

Great family oriented place to stay. Lots of entertainment options without having to leave the facility (pool, bowling, indoor track, etc.) two restaurant options as well as a little cafe! Highly recommend!

First time staying here but will probably book this hotel againRooms are small and compact but well kept and clean

We absolutely loved our stay, we travel frequently and this has to be one of the best places i have ever stayed. The hotels itself is beautiful, clean and there are so many things to do our family of four two kids age 5 and 7, were never without something to do, so much to access and you dont even need to step outside. We attended a hockey game, bowled, went to the sports complex that is included and has a pool with waterslide, steam room, sauna and a hotub.

The hotel staff were very helpful and great when checking in and out! The room was very clean and nice, so was the property.

second time staying at a Microtel Inn & Suites. They continue to meet my expectations, continental breakfast was excellent.

A nice room and rate for a weekend visit.

Great location. Attached to the Credit union place which is nice and allows you to get to the rink, pool, bowling and gym while staying inside. Don’t like that the website didn’t express clearly that the pool is a public pool. When it says open daily there are exceptions for holidays since it’s a public pool and not a hotel pool. I feel there’s been enough feedback on this in reviews that the website should be changed. I don’t think I’d want to stay if the place was full or any sort of sporting event going on that I wasn’t a part of. If you’re there for a swim meet, figure skating comp or hockey tournament then this would be the best place. The breakfast area is small and congested so to add more people would not be pleasant I wouldn’t think. Overall though I did enjoy my stay, had fun but won’t likely stay there again.

Awesome spot, will return

All staff were amazing, friendly and helpful and remembered you whenever you walked past the front desk. The hotel was full due to an event and everything still ran smoothly. The hotel has access to the community pool which is awesome for kids and super convenient. The rooms were clean and quiet and the beds and pillows were comfy. Breakfast had lots of options for everyone. Highly recommend staying here especially if you are traveling as a family. Five stars!!

Very friendly staff. The pool area was absolutely amazing!! Only downside was that the pool closed at 8:45pm! Rooms were very clean and the breakfast was fantastic! They went up and beyond to get certain items for my daughter who’s T1D so that was appreciated more than they know! I would definitely go back again!

Best on the island! Too bad we found this gem at the end of our trip, because we would have stayed here all week.  It is so clean and the staff are so friendly guest checkin is phenomenal!  They have Do e products for shampoo, conditioner, body wash and the cutest little bar of soap for your hands.  Not to forget the amazing pool with large slide.  Fantastic for my 8 year old!  I highly recommend Microtel for your stay on PEI.  Loved it!

Nice, new hotel. Clean with comfy beds and pillows. Very good restaurant adjacent to the hotel (Red Shores) which was a welcome option to the fast and fried food restaurants in town. Nice pool and play area for kids. Centrally located on island halfway point from Charlottetown and Thunder Cove beach.

Great hotel, conveniently located. The only issue that I had was with the restaurant. During breakfast they need more staff. From 8:45 through to 10:00 am there was never a time where all of the breakfast items were available at the same time. The layout of the breakfast offering is also very congested.

The regular rooms are small but good for what we needed and the beds are very comfortable.  The room is well equipped despite its size (fridge, coffe maker, desk,...).  The staff is very polite, helpful and answers clients with a smile.  The hot/cold breakfast is fresh has a good variety.  Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy the pool or the bowling but they look nice on the pictures!The only negative was the shower floor that needed a scrub (textured floor so I guess it was surfaced clean but stained of reddish-brown sand so should have been scrubbed).

There were couple of issues that caused some disappointment. Firstly, there were no storage spaces by way of drawers in tables etc. There was very little hanging space. So, all your stuff pretty much lay about open. Secondly, no ironing table or iron was available in the room. In my view, that is an essential requirement.

Excellent hotel, but no charger for the car. Had to go up the road to the credit union place chargers.
