Staff seemed angry to have customers arriving at the property

Disappointed with our stay here. We booked the “romantic” room for 1 night after a 4 day camping trip. Room looked very little like the photo. Was looking forward to a hot shower after camping but there was none, only a bathtub. The room was in the basement which made it smell damp and sour. Air conditioning did not work and no option to open a window. There was a huge pile of damp and dirty towels on the floor in the small hallway leading to the room that was never picked up during our stay.

There’s no soundproofing; you can hear everything through the walls and constant loud stomping from upstairs especially since the breakfast room is directly above this room. The included breakfast was basic; toast, cereal, yogurt which is generally fine however everything was mostly empty with no one around to refill things. No fruit or water available.

Reception was unwelcoming and overall the room did not match our expectations for a “romantic” stay based on the description. Didn’t use the hot tub after seeing the state of the bnb as we doubted its cleanliness.

The terrace in the back and the view of the river is really nice and the bed was comfy but sadly would not recommend based on the price.

Disappointing

Good quality beds, but this is the only positive aspect, as the negatives are numerous: noisy ventilation, air conditioning blocked at 16-17 degrees, brief or even erased reception, basic breakfast or even nonexistent on dirty tables (no butter or milk at the second hour of service), poorly maintained outdoors, but the situation and the building have the potential to operate more seriously.

Passing hotel... let's get out of here!

The economy room in the basement is small and humid. Very ordinary home. We were not told to go to lunch, nor offered to go to the spa and the operation. The spa was clean but we enjoyed 15 minutes over three days. It was way too hot anyway. No availability. Correct for an in and out without more. I won't return to the cest for sure. No one on site. Cold old as a place. Breakfast bagel, grain, cereal, rye, juice and coffee roasted at will. Near the zoo, planetarium, kart and miniput.

All right, that's all.

The hotel offers a good value for money. mention the young lady who does everything she can to make your stay enjoyable. it looks like she's running the hotel all by herself... lunch is very basic but proper. the room was clean, street side but soundproofed anyway. the terrace and the ponton overlooking the lake are an asset. it's a shame the outdoor garbage is overflowing. there would also be a small drink to enjoy the terrace even more

The right price quality

The room does not fit the picture at all (for the family room with a view, it is much smaller and the beds are not King size but it is 140cm max. Lack of cleanliness and very basic breakfast. Otherwise the reception is very nice by a young man and a very pleasant jacuzzi.

Good for one night.

I was not told that we would have a room in the basement and we are 4 people in our 80s. Had to lug our big suitcases down the stairs and back up.  I had asked for 2 queen bed we got a room with 3 double beds, very cold in the room, went to.the desk and she said she was new and did not know how to fix it.  Finally found thermostat high behind a door.  The stairs on front steps tearing so dangerous and no ice to be found.

We arrived at the end of the day at St. Felix's. We were greeted by a simple envelope with our name on the reception counter. The room, located next to the parking lot (and view of the lake) was really big, but nevertheless old. The bed was quite comfortable, and the bathroom was suitable. The breakfast counter, continental (brick fruit juice, lunch bread, coffee in thermos) and nothing else, and there, too. During our two-day stay we did meet a very kind employee who could inform us. The most of this hostel is the terrace on the lake, very nice at the end of a sunny day.
