Kids loved the waterside. Great place to stay!

Great place to stay. Staff is super friendly. Very clean place.

It was a nice stay. The rooms are getting old and so the taps run and the room had a smoky smell. Overall a good stay though

This is a decent hotel for what you pay. The pool is the best part and the staff was very friendly, especially our breakfast gal!!

Amazing experience! Staff was nice and informative. Love the fact it has early  and free breakfast with the price and the pool  and gym was a great bonus

When I first booked, the app had the wrong address/location on the map, so we drove right past.  Not a big deal, except we were in the big rig.  Luckily we were able to get turned around before getting too far in the wrong direction. (It appears to be correct now)The check-in staff were very friendly.  The room was showing it's age, but was clean. We walked to the restaurant next door for breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. It looked very basic, good enough for me, but not my husband.

Everything was fine

We were travelling thru and needed a 1-night stand!! LOL. Staff was friendly, the hotel was reasonably clean considering the inclimate weather outside, and they had plug-ins for my VW diesel. A bonus for us is that being New years Eve, once we were settling in, there was a commotion outside and we could see their fireworks from our window!

I've had many different experiences with my stays in Super 8. Once my room had an aroma of vomit (not very strong - as I was able to stay in it) and no I did not complain about it as it wasn't bad at all.. My next stay I was put on the second floor....loved it and had no complaints. My most recent stay, because I booked so late in the day, I was placed in a room on the 1st floor...the room was pleasant enough but it really was for someone with a handicap. I didn't mind the room as I was only sleeping in it one night. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Overall, my stays here have been very pleasant and I will be staying there again. The purpose of my stays is to visit my son and his family as they recently moved back to Slave Lake. I think I will have to get frequent flyer miles as I will be visiting quite often. Thank you for the wonderful rooms and the pleasant staff.

Super 8 is my favorite Slave Lake Hotel

I recently stayed in Slave Lake as I have a severe dog allergy as they are a pet friendly hotel I was not going to be able to stay there. The gentleman phone every other hotel to see if any where not pet friendly for me. Unfortunately none where found so they upgraded me to the executive room  at no extra charge that was the one room they knew had not had pets in. The staff went out of there way to accommodate me. I would highly recommend them for the staff alone and the room was excellent. Thank you to all at the Super 8 in Slave Lake

Above and beyond

The hotel was great. I guess the complaint I would have was iur room was booked in the middle of a teenage sport team. They were loud, doors left open and beeping constantly, nicely asked them and front desk but nothing was done.
