Peter Canisius House

This was a very pleasant surprise and served our conference of about 100 people very well. It is like stepping back in time, as the buildings are 1930s, but the insides are well-maintained. I saw a large rabbit having breakfast on the lawns one morning. There are a variety of internal conference rooms - the main one, plus smaller break-out ones. The dining room is serve-yourself, but that also suited the nature of our meeting. The food is of the lamb/roast/potatoes/rice/salad variety, but special needs are catered for. One warning about the rooms and associated bathrooms. There are only a small number of en-suites and most of the others mean you will have to walk down the corridor to the central facilities and share. There is a chapel on site and it is a place of calm and quiet beauty.
