Had amazing experience at cedars hotel August 1st to August 5th for our short trip to sicamous Chris the owner was very helpful, and can't beat the prices, we will definitely be back next summer. Thanks Chris for making our experience wonderful and Merry Christmas!

Wow!  A hidden gem. Muriel and Chrissy are the owners and really make you feel at home! 
We stayed in #6  which is a full
Kitchenette, 1 bedroom end unit. It has a patio table and chairs outside the unit. The yards were spotless as well. 

They are constantly upgrading. 

The room was spotless and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. Lots of windows to open if you like a breeze. The area is quiet at night with little of no traffic. 

Groceries, liquor store, pubs, coffee, gas station all within walking distance. 

We will be back!

Just returned to our favourite place to stay in Sicamous. Cabins are spotlessly clean and the kitchenettes are fully stocked if you just want to stay in and enjoy the ambience.  Quietly located off the highway, but central to stores and restaurants, the Cedars is the perfect place for an overnight or extended stay!

Cedars Motel was a lovely place to stay. Many little details in room lovely soap and shampoos. A fully stocked kitchenette with very nice dishes and cooking utensils.  Tea and coffee supplied peanut butter and jam and even mints. Easy to make full breakfast on hot plate. Very comfortable bed. Thanks Chris for our stay would love to stay here for a week. This was a great little find! We had a bbq and picnic table outside our cabin and spent a relaxing evening watching the sun set. The homemade muffins and coffee al fresco in the a.m. was a nice light start to our travels. The staff was wonderful and made our stay delightful. Cabin was clean, beds were comfortable and reasonable priced. I always look to book here again. This place is a gem...and a hidden asset in Sicamous! 

This motel experience was my best yet! I’d advise you to stop in on your next trip to or through Sicamous B.C.
Close to shopping, food and gas it’s also right down the road from the famous Shuswap Lake.
The staff is helpful and they offer a nice continental breakfast.


My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night whilst travelling from Vancouver to Calgary. Over the two weeks we’d stayed in Canada, this was by far the nicest and most reasonably priced accommodation - we both wished we could have stayed longer. 

The owner was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The cabin was very clean, with everything you needed and THE most comfortable bed. The price was very reasonable AND included a lovely continental breakfast (make sure you try the homemade blueberry muffins! 

I really cannot recommend this motel highly enough! 

Chris made us three women feel welcome. We really liked the little two-room cabin, and I found sleeping on the couch just fine!  Everything was clean and orderly, although we were only given towels, etc. for two. Best feature - two sturdy and well-placed 'disable bars' in the bathroom. The continental breakfast was sufficient. Nearness to a little lake-side park was lovely.
