My husband and I stayed at the hotel on day 5 of our motorcycle tour of BC. The hotel check in was easy and the gentleman was very friendly. The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The rooms are also very quiet, which was a pleasure after a long ride. We will be back!

Very clean motel. The staff handling the phone was very friendly and professional. She/he didn’t ask for credit card information. Also gave us a good discount after learning that we had a long journey ahead. 

The bed was presentable and firm. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The towels and sheets were fresh. 

I love the floor (not carpet). 

Would stay here again when passing through.

Clean, convenient, spacious, renovated bathroom, and possibly the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept on!! Due to poor road conditions, I booked rather last minute, and through a third party service-I found out the next morning that the highway between Sicamous and Salmon Arm was closed due to an accident. In the past, this habit has occasionally resulted in less than stellar service, but not here.  The front desk is connected to the managers/caretakers living quarters, and I was greeted warmly upon arrival. Parked in front of my room, and by the time I went inside with one bag, and come back out for the second they had already shoveled a path down the side of my truck!! THIS is service, people! I'm SO impressed! Thank you again, for a great overnight stay.

I'm devastated that they don't allow pets, because I usually travel with a dog, but because of this, this will be my last stay here. Keep up the great work, guys.

Great small town motel.  Clean! Comfy bed and pillows! Great hosts who seem to really care about their customers.  They’re taking a cute older family run favourite, and making it even better.  I suggest you forgo the chain hotels, and give this place a try.

My husband & I needed a place to sleep for one night. I Googled the hotel chains in the area, but they were all very pricey for what you got. Typical for high season, & the amenities offered.  For me, the amenities like breakfast, fitness room and pool usage were all secondary especially with COVID affecting those amenities (ie booking pool availability or limited breakfast options). Why pay more when all you need is a clean comfortable room/nights stay? Mention of recently renovated rooms perked our interest & excellent reviews. That’s why we chose “Pines Motel”.  It delivered the best price, $135/night and pleasant service too! I would definitely stay @ “The Pines” again.

Bed was so comfortable, room was spotless and sanitized. Carpet was clean amd fresh.  I would very highly recommend this little gem. I pulled in quite late and was thrilled to find a room available.

I was pleasantly shocked by how lovely my motel room was. Outside the motel looks like a typical 60s-70s motel but the room have been upgraded and are smart and very clean. There is one pine wood wall but every thing else including the spotless bathroom is white. The bathroom had lots of little extras and was nicely decorated. The only thing missing was a chair to work at the desk...but I was only there for one night

Downtown motel that’s new, very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Great price for value. Beautiful area, friendly staff. We are x-country Roadtrippers from Philadelphia, and this is our favorite motel so far. 

We had a great stay here. Motel manager was very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and comfortable. Loved the idea of the coffee and tea machine outside the office, as welll as barbecues. We stayed for two nights, but would happily have stayed longer. Thanks to the manager and his wife for their great hospitality.

This small motel run by a young couple is a gem in Sicamous.  While the rooms are small, everything is adequate and well-cared for.  The owners have added little touches to make it homey and adorable, inside and out.  They went above and beyond to accommodate my oversized freezer packs overnight.  I would not hesitate to stay again!

Great One Night’s Stay

We were only there for a quick, one night stay after riding all day on the motorcycles.  
Owners were very nice and very accommodating. Room was simple, clean and cozy.   Bed was very comfy.  Bathroom had been newly renovated and had lots of hot water and good water pressure. ( cleanliness,  comfy bed and good shower are my 3 top criteria).  Was it a wee bit dated?  Sure, but who cares.  It adds some rustic ambiance and is the least of my worries.  It's what we have come to expect staying in these cute little motels.  Walking distance to everything,  which is super important to us,  as we park the bikes for the night.  I poured myself a glass of wine and sat under a lovely tree in a deck chair and relaxed :)
In the morning we appreciated the self serve Keurig station and had our morning coffee outside on same deck chairs. 
There is a train nearby and it is a whistle stop for those that are light sleepers like me.  The faint hum of the air conditioner helped (not sure who found these noisy?).  But that would not stop me from staying there again and recommending to others. 

Clean, Quiet and Cozy...

I checked in since I wanted a bed and a good sleep to get ready for a big ride the next day. The owner gave me a matched price since I did ask around other motel. Her husband and her are very friendly. The bed is comfortable and all the facilities are clean. It’s within walking distance to restaurants. It was a comfortable stay.

Our king bed was very comfortable. We had a room with one of the renovated bathrooms that are very nice and bright. The room itself was a bit dated still but it was very clean which to me makes the difference.
Possible things that could be improved over time for the new management is the finishing of the renovated space (I.e. painting the primed bathroom door and the new trim) also including a box of tissues in the bathroom, investing in some thicker/bigger bath towels, and also getting better pillow covers.
