Easy access, near gas station and Tim’s.

Nice hotel clean rooms and good breakfast Will be coming back.

Rooms were generally quiet. The furniture could use a facelift. We would stay here again for sure.

Great location right off the highway.  Clean, comfortable and good breakfast.

We stayed here for the week of the Brandon Winter Fair. Part of my review compares our experience last year to this year when we stayed in a nearby hotel. What I liked this year that we did not get in the nearby hotel last year- they were on top of cleaning and did a really good job of it, The beds were the size they said they would be. The breakfast had protein everyday. Things looked older but were clean and well maintained. Staff, chef and cleaners were all great. I do wish there was more fruit options and protein/ Greek yogurt for breakfast- there was apples for some of the time. Only had breakfast issues that last day but there was a different chef that day. Thankyou for providing a quiet, clean place to come back to each evening and starting us off well each day with protein and coffee

The room was overall great - our bed was very comfortable but unfortunately the pull out was lacking…..my daughter had a horrible sleep. Would advise getting a room with 2 proper beds. The breakfast area was great, lots of choices, one of the best I’ve had. On the outskirts of town so overall quiet. Fast food options close by.

This hotel offers a discount for 55 and over. Though a bit dated, this hotel is incredibly clean, great beds , extra bedding. Rooms are also supplied with large containers of toiletries. The supplied breakfast is plentiful and lots of variety. I give the cook videos for his ability to to keep up when being bombarded with numerous hockey teams   He kept the area clean and sanitized as well. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I’ve already recommended to friends and will gladly stay here again 

Convenient and affordable

Very nice clean rooms & surroundings. Unfortunately the bed was very hard. We got to the complementary breakfast 1/2 hr prior to closing & it needed to be restocked … especially the hot dishes but that didn’t happen :(  it was a very busy Sunday at the hotel , you would think they would cater to ALL . Sorry to say we had to go elsewhere .

The hotel is an older one. Despite its age there has been upgrades on the inside of the hotel. Cleanliness is good. It is quiet and comfortable. Dining options are good. This one was chosen because it was not in the middle of the city. Shout out to the staff. All shifts were friendly, and wonderful to work with. Thank you to the staff for being so amazing

As always, my experience at Lakeview Brandon was one of comfort and convenience. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and my room (205) was very clean. My only criticism is that the room was quite chilly when I arrived, and it was a little tricky sorting out the thermostat and the heater. The next time I am planning on staying, I will call ahead and ask for the front desk to adjust the thermostat in the room so that it is warm when I arrive.

Clean and comfortable, as always

Stayed as a couple for a couple of days in summer of 2023.  The room we had was comfortable, laid out nicely for 2, with a slightly firm sofa-bed and armchair making hanging around the room tenable.  Mattress was comfortable; very nice duvet was a bonus.  Any staff we encountered were pleasant and obliging, at the desk, and especially the morning breakfast bar.
Good access to the Trans-Canada east or west, and to the North; not so much to the south part of Brandon.
Other things we did, unfortunately, note:  the bathroom fan was LOUD, the shower/tub diverter was nail-breaking tough, and the HVAC both loud and difficult to manage in terms of getting the room to a comfortable temperature.  We also got a whiff of that ‘burning dust’ smell when we turned the heat on briefly, but admittedly, it was probably the first time in months that the heat had been required.  We also found that much of the food ran out before hitting the end of the nominal ‘open until 9:00 am’ time slot.
Surroundings are a bit industrial; consider more as a roadside stop, than a destination per se.


Mostly good; a bit of maintenance would make it better...

Good value for the quality of the hotel. Conveniently located just off the Trans Canada highway. The staff while friendly, didn't seem to have any empathy in regards to the fact we were physically handicapped, they wouldn't take the required steps to have non- handicapped vehicles removed from the clearly marked handicapped parking spots.
