We had a lovely stay at Lakeside Country Inn . Margaret and Don were  very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable for our night stay on the way to the Rockies. The room was perfect, very comfortable   with lots of attention to detail and a little terrace to enjoy the views of the lake and the beautiful garden . Margaret recommended Tobiano Golf Course restaurant to eat and that was another find on our holiday – lovely staff and fabulous food and what a view !   We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room overlooking the lake and also had time to chat with Margaret and Don before we resumed our journey .

Beautiful spot 

This B&B was amazing.  Beautiful grounds and spotless rooms with attention to detail overlooking the lake.  There was a balcony for sitting out with coffee in the morning.  Delightful conversations!  We spent a couple of nights here while touring British Columbia.

Beautiful B&B on Kamloops Lake

This small privately run B&B is a real gem. It is right on Kamloops Lake and has beautifully maintained grounds. We had a wonderful family room with a kitchen and a large balcony with a wonderful view of the lake. Every detail in this hotel is chosen with love and everything is totally clean.
The highlight of our stay was the breakfast, which was personally served by Margret and Don - it was just fabulous.
This hotel alone is a reason to travel from Germany to Canada again!!!

Nicest hotel on our western Canada tour with the very best breakfast

Our first time at a B & B, I can't say enough good about this place.  It was spotless clean and the rooms, buildings and grounds were immaculately maintained,  Pride of ownership and guest comfort came through with the first "hello" to the last goodbye.  Margaret and Don are great hosts and provided us with a memorable stay and experience.

Amazing!

My adult daughter and I stayed over night last Saturday night (June 2021). We were in town for my brothers surprise birthday party. When we checked it in we went to the room to drop our stuff and when we opened the room it was spectacular. So bright, cool (they had the AC on for us already so the room would be a perfect temp as it was record hot temps outside) and CLEAN.  We were so impressed with it. There was a hand written welcome note to us by the owner. The view is amazing and the grounds are so spectacular. I can't wait to return for a retreat type relaxing time where I can really enjoy the different seating areas among the beautiful flower gardens. The grass is like a carpet and the water off the dock is really clear. I can imagine if you have a boat this would be a fantastic place to stay.

The queen bed I slept in was extremely comfortable, to the point where I want to buy the mattress pad for my bed at home. I had such a good sound sleep. Best sleep I had had in days. I have slept in some expensive resort hotels and this beautiful little Country Inn tops them all by far.

The owner Margaret was so pleasant and cheerful to deal with. Extremely accommodating. I didn't have a chance to enjoy the food but I hear it is so delicious. 

I will most definitely be back!!! You can count on it.

I had a fantastic Stay in June 2021

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful inn on the shores of Kamloops Lake.  We just loved it and were wishing it was warmer so we could take advantage of the beautiful beach/lake/and outdoor amenities provided.  The inn had everything we needed and was absolutely immaculate.  The kind owners suggested places to go eat and we drove the short distance to the golf course and had a super dinner while overlooking the expansive scenery.  This would be a great place to have a family reunion when covid is under control.  We are already making plans to come back in the summer months to spend more time.  There are even bikes to use if you feel like riding to the city park etc.  Thanks so much for a nice stay!

Fabulous place to stay!

Pandemic hotel stays can be tricky.  Lakeside figured it out and provides safe clean rooms with a great view.
The fridge and microwave with plates and cutlery matched exactly what we needed for a short stay.  Be aware that dining out options are minimal in Savona so you may wish to bring food for dinner and use the barbecue.
Breakfast was exactly what we want, drinks, fruit, granola, yogurt, and a great selection of baked goods.  The muffins and scones were excellent.  Everything was served so there was no issue with buffets and the quality was excellent.
The owners got to know us in very little time.  We understand why people come back year after year.
While it was not noisy, one should be aware that the train passes relatively close to the hotel and things vibrate a bit when it does.  Fun once you figure it out.

Great service, friendly people and right on the lake

While traveling from Pemberton through to the Okanagan we stayed for just one night at the lovely Lakeside Country Inn. This charming place is truly an oasis and we were so happy to have come across it and look forward to returning again on our next trip. The owners are warm and gracious and live on the property and make you feel like a guest in their very special home. The decor is charming and the attention to details is exceptional. The room could not have been cleaner. #4 was cozy but had everything we needed and we would not hesitate to choose this room again. It was very comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. We liked that it was on the end of the building so we had a wide view from the balcony. The gardens are just beautiful and are obviously a labor of love. They are so peaceful with comfortable Adirondack chairs with which to enjoy the beauty of this spot on Kamloops Lake. We were too late in the season to enjoy breakfast other reviews claim this was a highlight so hope to be able to enjoy that next time. Although there are frequent trains that go by I really don't think they would bother any but the lightest sleeper, they certainly did not affect the quality of our sleep in that very comfortable bed. We only stayed one night but we won't make that mistake again, this place is  so lovely.

A favourite spot for us every year! Perfect get away, beautiful surroundings and welcoming hosts. The gardens are gorgeous and the rooms charming and immaculate.  Ten out of ten 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Exceptional!

Sure it’s Covid times but one gets the feeling this little Inn is always exceptional in its standards. Beside being cute as a button, with a lovely lakeside location, the hostess is wonderful, too! The train that goes past and makes a tiny rumble just adds more ambience on top of it all. We didn’t plan on being here but we were tired of driving so stayed. This is the quintessential definition of country inn. We will definitely be back!  Added bonus, Tobiano Golf course has a lovely restaurant with reasonable prices and great food a short drive down the road.
