Friendly hosts at the B and B. Beautiful old house in perfect location. Enjoyed our privacy and fun on the big porch and shopping in the charming little town. Biking is very good there in the area of good trails and pretty scenery. Wonderful little art school there as well. Very nice place to visit if you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation. Good food at the restaurants also!!

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Southampton and stayed at Chantry Breezes. We had never been to either place before. My wife took her first holiday in over a year (thanks Covid!) and I retired the week prior to our stay. What a beautiful place. Jenny & Don welcomed us as if we were old friends - so warm, inviting and personable. And they can both cook! The breakfasts were unrushed and beautifully presented. Fresh berries and muffins, eggs, bacon toast, and their own blend of coffee. We spent the days at farmers markets, walking, and catching some sun at the beach. The restaurants recommended by our hosts were top-notch and within half a block to the B & B. As was the beach, where we watched a beautiful sunset. You would think you were on the Pacific! It's a part of Ontario we had never been to and part of me wants to keep it a secret, but you need to go here and treat yourself to some time at Chantry Breezes. You will love it! I've stayed at Chantry Breezes many times over the years and each time has been memorable. Whether you stay in the estate home or a cottage, you'll enjoy complete privacy. There's a library, the covered porch and garden to enjoy. I especially like the way the garden is divided into small intimate spaces.

I cannot say enough good things about the hosts of this special spot. They were welcoming and attentive, so friendly and eager to please. They have made their house a home and are sharing it with all of us lucky guests. 

The location is perfection- walking distance to high street and the beach. 

The house is charming. I wish I had booked earlier and had a King bed- my own fault. I also tend to sleep better with a/c- personal preference again. My other minor gripe was that I should have brought my own beach chairs as the ones so generously provided are more of a camping style or sport spectator style chair. I desperately missed my beloved rio beach chairs. 

The breakfast is to die for- I honestly wish I could wake up to such simple, delicious, local, lovingly and expertly prepared nourishment every day- thank you Jenny. 

All in all I recommend this B&B wholeheartedly. I have never reviewed anywhere before- but I have never felt so personally attended to or welcomed.

I should add that we unfortunately forgot a toiletries bag and a pair of earrings. We called and were able to have them promptly shipped to our home (which we were of course billed for- naturally). 
Don and Jenny are committed to a very high level of cumstomer service, it is what makes Chantry Breezes a truly wonderful experience.

This was an amazing find! Don & Jenny are so friendly, and have made this a truly awesome B&B. Don & Jenny have provided everything a guest might need - but maybe never even thought of---from an indoor mini-kitchen, to a gorgeous back patio complete with a grill and outdoor kitchen! The decor is "Victorian beautiful", the breakfast room breathtaking, and the bedrooms are lovely with their very up-to-date private baths - including every toiletry you might need. Breakfast was a gourmet treat. Don & Jenny really go all-out to please! The beach is a 1/2 block away, with a long boardwalk - at sunset it's stunning. And the gelato across the street isn't bad either!! An absolute delight!

A lovely old fashioned room with ensuite shower, WiFi, no tv in the room but 2 lovely communal rooms one with a television. 
Jenny & Don Amy are very friendly & knowledgeable about the town.  I enjoyed my nights there.  Some really nice decorating touches throughout. 
Delicious breakfast,  starting with fresh fruit,  there are all kinds of choices too.
The B&B itself is less than a block from the lake & right across the road is the Walker House a terrific restaurant.

We chose the last weekend of Sept to stay at Chantry Breezes for the first time and the weather turned out to be gorgeous!  We have always loved Southampton since our family vacations years ago when we rented a little cottage and we have always gravitated back towards that shoreline.  This was our first time staying at this lovely B&B....although we have always noticed it as we passed by and have often wondered 'What if?'.  We absolutely loved our visit!  The only problem is that it wasn't long enough.  Definitely plan to return for a longer stay next year if they have room for us.  Our hosts Jenny and Don were very gracious, friendly and great to chat with.  The rooms were lovely, quiet and comfortable and we felt welcome to use the whole house.  The breakfast was perfect and delicious.  Such a beautiful old house full of warmth and with a relaxing, inviting atmosphere.  The best part is that it is just steps to our beloved Southampton beach with the blue waters of Lake Huron, fresh air, gorgeous sunsets and of course our view of Chantry Island.  The B&B is situated perfectly, it wraps its arms around you and we loved our time there.  We will be back!

Wether you stay in one of the on site super charming cottages or bedrooms in this beautiful historic bed and breakfast you will enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast each morning and the location is within walking distance to the beach and shopping 

With much of the pandemic behind us, my wife and I were pleased to be able to spend a couple of nights at this classy Southampton Beach bed and breakfast.   Location,  location, location.   Steps from both the beach and the downtown area.   Unfortunately the pandemic did do some damage to the local restaurants, so options are limited,  but 10 minute drive Port Elgin does offer much more choices for dinner.   While you're in Port Elgin,  check out the beaches!
