Chalets Village Mont Sainte Anne

We stayed at Chalets-Village Mont-Sainte-Anne for a family getaway. We felt welcome from the minute we booked online. The unit we had was the greatest offering a spa, bbq, a fireplace (they even provide wood), spacious spaces and very comfortable beds. I’ve been told by the owners that every unit comes with a spa, fireplace, etc. Another major positive points is the location of Chalets-Village Mont-Sainte-Anne. Barely 30 minutes from Quebec city, a few minutes from mountain bike and great hiking trails, this spot is a real hidden gem.

The chalet Le Renaud was a gem of a chalet, a beautifully renovated old stone cottage with  tons of atmosphere, every convenience and a beautiful stone fireplace for cosy evenings.  The place was immaculate when we arrived, and the Chalets Village staff were instantly available for all our concerns and problems, (of which there were very few).  A 3 minute drive to Mont Ste. Anne ski center, a short walk from lovely walks along a woodsy river, and a 6 minute drive from the XC ski center.  A winter Jewel.

Simple and super well located accommodation, great service. Just a short walk away from the ski station, closeby to a convenience store, ice ring and a 25 minute drive to Le Massif as a second ski option.

We left Nova Scotia in a Snow Storm destination Mont Saint Anne and La Massif for 3 days Skiing and 4 nights stay at CHALET 1847. The Chalet was perfect for our group, 2 families totaling 9 people but 3 families would still be comfortable. The view of Mont Saint Anne from the Chalet was beautiful especially seeing the hill lit up at night. The drive from the Chalet to the Mont Saint Anne is literally 1 minute and very convenient with La Massif only 30 minutes east. The Drive to Quebec is only 30 minutes which is nice for an evening adventure into old Quebec.There is a beer store less than 1/2 km away, a Petro Canada just down the road also with a small selection of food if needed. 

The owner Gilles was excellent to deal with and always answered his phone or returned our calls promptly. Gilles and his wife set us up with a great ski package for our stay with big savings. The cheapest package was to ski for 3 days. 

Both families on this ski vacation highly recommend staying at Gilles Chalets, they are very clean and well taken care of... we were impressed!  We are already looking at going back, thank you Gilles!

There were nine in our group, and we found the Pioneer House about right for us.  The chalet was clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped.  Gilles was great to deal with and the perfect host! 
The discount ski passes were a plus, especially for Alpine skiing.  The system for the Nordic passes does not work as well. 
The kitchen in the Pioneer house was a little tight, next year we'll rent a unit with a bigger kitchen.  
The location is perfect - it's close to a couple of stores, the XC ski trails and of course Mont Ste Anne alpine ski area.  
We will definitely be back!

We had a group of 12 people staying in the house for 4 nights around Christmas 2017. It was a very pleasant experience. The house used to be a pizza place and the remaining pizza oven and bar were a nice plus. The house was very roomy with the ability to sit everyone at one table with plenty of room left for more. The kitchen was well equipped with multiple fridges as well as 2 dishwashers with plenty of dishes/cutlery. The bedrooms were big enough to serve their needs. Everything was very clean and tidy, with all linens and towels provided. The sauna was a big hit with everyone staying here.

The Chalet is located minutes from Mt Saint-Ann (for any downhill skiing/snowboarding), as well as close to a cross country skiing center.

The owner was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Very peaceful location. First time in Quebec.  We stayed in Pioneer house. House has every think you would need. House was very clean. Gilles is a very professional landlord. Helps us a lot. Convenient store few min walk. Hiking near Mont-Saint-Ann walk-in distance. Canyons - 7 min drive. A lot of stuff to see in St.Ann. We love to drive old french streets. Lots of character. Restaurants around. We use to go to gym. 5 min drive. Pool nice and big, but place is old. Quebec City 30min drive, but it is better stay in Village then in hotel in Quebec City - same time to drive, much nicer view, outside  area to play for kids. Whale watching was amazing. Tadoussac was amazing trip.

We booked the Pioneer House (1847) at this village. This was our second time at this village and we got the same house. Right from the booking till the end of our stay, we received really good service. The property manager (Gilles) was very responsive in my communication with him. The chalets themselves appear old, but the property from inside is comfortable and has all required conveniences - fridge, washer/dryer, heat, full kitchen w/ appliances. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. We were a family of 9 with 4 kids and really enjoyed our stay. The only slight hitch was a the fire alarm batter died in the middle of the night and at 4am the alarm started to chirp. Called the property owner immediately and had the alarm disabled for that morning. There are some good trails around the property including a walk all the way to a small pond (Lake Mont Sainte-Anne). There is a gas station and restaurant very close to the village. There is a convenient store a few mins walk from the houses as well. Route 138 is a short drive from this location so you have access to IGA/Super C (grocery), SAQ and restaurants along the route, all within 15-20 mins driving distance. Quebec city is about a 35 mins drive from this location. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and look forward to returning in the near future.

We have rented the chalet la Pionnière.. REALLY DISAPPOINTING!! Cleanliness left much to be desired. The fire place didn't have a door then, there was a smell of smoke in the chalet. When we were making fires, we had the impression that we were breathing only smoke. The equipment in general is limited for the price. I recommend that you DO NOT rent this chalet, it is not worth the price.
