I really enjoy coming to this property. A quiet location right on the lake.

Highly recommend for it’s unparalleled, comfort and service.

Good, clean, and convenient modest motel with a kind owner. Conveniently located off the highway and being on the waterfront is a neat benefit. Tv has a good selection of channels and the kitchenette is also convenient. Coming back when im in the area

Stayed overnight on the way to Quebec city. Very friendly staff. There is a picnic table just beside the river with great view.

Location is great. A family run property and the owners are cordial and welcoming. Planned to stay for one night but than my car broke and had to stay for 3 nights. Owners were so cordial that he even offered a discount on my last night stay plus extended my checkout time. It’s a waterfront property. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Great place for what you pay for. The front lake bedrooms are beautiful in the morning. I recommend it.

Check in was easy and very accommodating, checkout was as easy as a key drop. Couldn't get any closer to the river unless you went swimming in it. I will definitely try to go that way again .

Its seconde time here and we got same room so it felt like home a bit

The perfect place for a short stay. Clean, good beds, hot water, great location as in waterfront -- what a view of "the lake that is a river" aka the St. Lawrence River and easy highway access. Great to have a room fridge. 

The room was larger than expected.  Plenty of nearby restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance. 

We were tired after a long day driving and followed the signs to Motel Rive Du Lac. Friendly owners and staff. They were very attentive and helpful. I was new driving a camper trailer which he saw immediately and offered easy parking -- so grateful!

I'm happy to recommend this sweet little motel find. We would stay there again!

Perfect Stay

Such a beautiful location I must say!!! We were doing late check-in (around 2AM) but he made sure we have access after check-in hours.Room was so beautiful, with mirror on the ceiling, we indeed got a beautiful picture.Right outside the motel, their is a lake which was so beautiful in the morning, even though we stayed only for 1 night but it was a great stay.

An old but clean building. The place have seen better days, but it's well run by the welcoming guest. It's clean, which is my most important point with a motel in this price point. Location by the river is amazing. I was in room 16, 2 meters away from it. You can hear the waves with the window open. Pretty cool :)

The room was clean, the kitchenette cupboards were a bit lacking cleanliness  but over all, it was ok. The lakeside is nice with 1 picnic table but the moise of the morning traffic took a bit of the magic away. The is a grocery shop at walking distance. The bedside lamps didn't seem to work but other than that, it's an ok place to stop for the night.

Ok its not the Hilton 5 stars but it was clean, the room was big enough with the 2 double beds small table and chair . It is dated could use some paint in the washroom but the price is right and its clean. Owners dont speak good english or good french but we eventually communicated enough, it was easy as i booked and paid online

Place to crash , clean and reasonable

Our flight landed at 2am and we checked in at 3am. It was so late. The website said check in was only until 10pm. The staff actually stayed awake and let us in at 3am. He was very nice and went out of his way for us. The hotel room was really nice, especially for a motel. We were pleasantly surprised with the condition and cleanilness. The next morning, we realized the motel is waterfront! We were literally right at the water's edge. Really neat! We'd definitely stay here again if passing through.

Great little spot with awesome staff

Good place to spend a night, kitchen very outdated, I would not use stove or oven. Exhaust fan in bathroom extremely loud and didn't do much in removing air from shower. The night I was there was cool required heat which was noisy, had to turn it off to sleep! Overall very dated and needs many updates.

It is a family owned business. The people are very nice. It seems a little creepy from the outside, but inside is large, clean and well maintained. The bathtub/shower has an uncovered window in it which is also a little creepy. The bed was bouncy and kept waking me up, and the air conditioner needs to be replaced. But for a place to lay your head for the night, the price is very good
