Staff are welcoming and very helpful. Very clean hotel. I always stay there.

Nice quiet hotel, great restaurant within walking distance

Nice hotel with store, restaurant and other stuff really close by.Breakfast buffet is basic, but there is other breakfast place close to if.

Great location and amenities, very helpful and nice staff. I recommend going there for future travellers.

Very nice accommodations in a central location in downtown Rouyn-Noranda. Signage for the hotel parking could be better, but not a big deal. Would stay here again.

Boutique hotel close to services and the staff super helpful. Very clean room and comfortable bed.

Good hotel with good sized and updated rooms. Breakfast is decent continental style, and they have a good coffee machine that makes espresso etc. The outdoor parkade is fine, but they couldn’t let me in remotely as that wasn’t working. So I needed to park on the street and go move my car after I got my room key. There were some sketchy kids looking in car windows in the parkade when I went to move my car, so I was a bit concerned about security there.  But my car survived the night unscathed, so all was good.  This was my 3rd stay there, and I’d stay again without hesitation.

This is my 3rd stay at the property and I appreciate every time. The only thing I could comment on is the bumpy elevator when it stops at a the desired floor. It shakes and bounces as if we were in a six flags amusement park. That should be fixed, it's been like that for at least two years. Other than that, nice hotel nice staff.

The Hotel Albert has a lot going for it. Great location, very friendly and most helpful front desk staff, a really cool owner, nice CLEAN rooms, on-site parking and a good continental breakfast. Steps away from two very good restaurants. The steps into the lobby front either the front or back entrances can present some difficulty for those with mobility issues. There is an elevator however. 

Great location in Rouyn-Noranda 

Stay was for 4 days so a fair bit of time was spent in the room. Advantages were: Walking distance of all of the major features. Breakfast was a plus. Good selection of food that could be heated. Whenever something was missing a quick trip to the front desk had the item immediately available. Due to COVID restrictions a cook was not available to fry eggs etc. Disadvantages: Room was a bit small for 2 queens and an easy chair would have been a plus to relax or watch t.v. (not possible due the size).  There was no t.v. schedule so there was no way of determining whether an interesting show was available. T.V. was available in both languages - a plus for tourists.

I arrived late on a Friday night. No problem with the check-in, room was clean and comfy. The hotel is directly on Main street so I heard people doing a party on the street right across the street from the hotel until 3h30am but it was the only night and because I forgot my earplugs. 😉Bed and pillow were a little too soft for me but some people will like it this way. Breakfast was a self-serve, very complete and a huge variety. My only deception was there's no water fountain and no bottle available except if you ask the person at the reception for water. Highly recommend and will stay there again.

Comfy and close to everything

Nice hotel in rouyn noranda  downtown city centre. Very big room for a 1 queen bedroom look like a suite. And they got very good coffee machine in lobby 24/24 cappuccino, latter, expresso.very good quality coffe machine.Breakfast good choice for continental right now due to Covid no buffet Breakfast but kind of mac muffin bacon egg sandwiches that you heat up in microwave.

Lovely hotel downtown Rouyn

A unique, downtown "high-rise" (vs the usual suburban low-rise) hotel, very much in a European style.  In a great location, which has helped to further revitalize the downtown of Rouyn-Noranda.  The surrounding streetscaping and pedestrian life on the streets is excellent!  Well done, G5 and Rouyn-Noranda!

Breakfast was delicious, great choices!  The waitress that served us coffee was very welcoming with "Hola".  Her approach was very professional.  Her name is Yiaris, originally from Cuba. We just loved chatting with her.  She is  very sociable, polite, there exactly when we needed her.  And she even made a paper rose for me.  What a great, unexpected gesture!  She has surpassed our expectations.  THANK YOU to the restaurant of Best Western Plus Hotel Albert. 

I went to the Best Western Plus during a week-end and it was great! We got upgraded to a suite with a king-size bed that was so comfortable! The staff was very nice, the breakfast was very good and the bedrooms were super clean! I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Rouyn for a short or long stay!
