This was a very interesting tour. We chose the night tour. The owner/tour guide, Jason did a thorough and entertaining job sharing his knowledge of the house as well as the artifacts in the home. This is definitely worth the time and money invested.

By far one of the coolest exhibits I have ever seen! I wish I had the opportunity to check it out again. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate. Everything was so authentic-there wasn’t a boring moment. Enough can’t be said about the artifacts and the castle as a whole, truly incredible!

You must book online.  The owner is the actual host, and since he lives there, all tours must be prearranged.  The inside is stunning and he has recreated the atmosphere that would have existed in the past.  Truly a labour of love as he has meticulously collected artifacts from the past.

Went for the tour only and we were a little hesitant as the price was $50 per person, however, in the end, well worth it.
Jason, the owner, was very informative, even though we had a “lady” from Qu’Appelle who thought she knew more than him and was a bit snippy with him..it’s his tour lady!
The history of the building is mind blowing and, if you have the $$$$ you can even stay there. The rooms are authentic but have modern conveniences, incl washer & dryer.

Loved our experience. Jason was very informative with all of his historical information. This was a great tour for a girls afternoon. Can’t wait to see Jason develop more of the castle. Highly recommend the tour for all ages.

My sister with the red Tommy Hilfiger shirt.  She took the pic of the haunted painting that’s supposed to give off negative energy.  The very last pic was outside the castle and you will see the whole lettering and such is non existent.  This was a weird encounter and we noticed this after we left and scrolling through the pics.  Ghost playing or posing in the pic in front of her???  We will never know but cool anyways.

We had already done an evening tour and returned a couple years later for afternoon one and enjoyed each at least as much as the other. The castle is impressive and the furnishings are beautiful throughout- so much to see. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and does a great job of sharing educational history while keeping it entertaining and engaging.

I’ve been on many tours in my life, mostly throughout Europe. The Tower of London (The Bloody Tower) was haunting and amazing, I’ve seen nothing comparable. Until yesterday. This castle is everything it boasts to be. Though the history is nothing compared to places throughout Europe, the atmosphere, the details, the overall feel of it is enchanting. The tour guide/owner was fantastic at explaining every detail and offering interesting facts that kept my 12 year old intrigued. I had no idea such a place existed in Saskatchewan, though I’ve lived here most of my life! Well worth the time and money, 100%.

Enjoyed the tour very much. Amazing architecture for a small city in Saskatchewan. Well worth it. I recommend the tour. Inexpensive and a great tour guide.  I found it amazing that he lived there. Interesting to know why it was built and by whom. Not sure that I would stay there but it would be an experience that’s for sure.

Went for our anniversary and brought my mom from Calgary along. Very knowledgeable and friendly host. Was absolutely incredible. Well worth seeing. Will for sure be back in the future and bring other guests with us.

Impressive

A few of us decided to take the Stone Hall Castle tour.
It’s been awhile since it’s opened and we’ve heard so many comments from others we know who have previously toured it, we decided it was our time to do the same.
This tour was no disappointment!
Our host/tour guide provided us with many points of history that made all we 
saw come together with fluidity. 
The work that is put into this type of venture should be well appreciated.  
Indeed, this is a taste of past times.

Afternoon Tour

I toured the castle today.  I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.  Jason is warm and inviting.  His passion for his home and antique furnishings show through.  The history of the house is amazing on the prairie, but to have it set in the style of European castles is a must see.  Being from South Carolina, USA, it reminds me of the European style of the Biltmore House in our area, just not on the grand scale of that castle.   I would recommend this tour to anyone.  I would do it again.
