Loved our visit at the Pleasant View.  The owners are so welcoming and kind.  We were grateful for their helpful tips on where to get great local seafood.  I’ve never stayed in a house with such character and charm!  Thanks for the great experience!

From our one night stay, I can safely say that it was a roadtripper's dream come true to come across this beautiful old building on our travels. We were greeted with lovely service and essentially full reign of the house during our stay. It was like being welcomed as a guest into an old friend's cottage for an escape on the water. Comfortable beds, clean sheets, private rooms, a beautiful view and a well stocked kitchen (not to mention pretty speedy wifi for the location). We awoke the next morning to hearty serving of homemade blueberry pancakes, eggs and coffee for breakfast before we moved on. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

This historical inn was impressive. This charming 19Th Century Inn has been well kept and reconditioned; it overlooks the gorgeous Belleisle Bay.  
The Inn was neat, clean, well maintained and well equipped. It was a comfortable and laid-back place to stay. 
It is a tranquil, peaceful place to stay. The price was very reasonable. 
I enjoyed my stay.

Superb Hospitality and a Beautiful Country Escape

Fabulous Stay

Great visit

Upon arriving no reception was there to welcome us and it was unclear where we had to go. The owner wasn’t prepared for our arrival and kept blaming the site through which we booked that they should send notifications. So we had to wait to get into our rooms after travelling all day. The rooms were filthy-bugs everywhere (see pictures) and absolutely no housekeeping was done for the rooms that people checked out of on the second floor the first day we were there and our floor on the third. The atmosphere was one of almost feeling like an unwanted guest to be honest and although the breakfast was adequate the first day-she put no effort in when it was just us that were left in the place. It is an hour out of Saint John which wasn’t convenient, even if the price was cheap. It is pretty obvious that customers don’t have priority here. Don’t stay here, it isn’t worth the hassle to get there.
