Au Bord du Fleuve

The owner Michel, almost as soon as we arrived, sat with us and helped us plan out our whole week of attractions. Advising us (from a locals point of view) the easiest ways to get around the city, where to park, etc. Breakfast was always a surprise and presented with foods shaped like different animals. His favourite seemed to be a butterfly. Always a good meal to start our day and on very lucky days, Michel would treat us to a song with his very pleasant voice . The bedroom was tastefully decorated, a very comfortable bed, a patio to sit and watch the ships and birds using the St. Lawrence river.. and if you weren't tired out from the days activities, a walking path was right outside his door, with people using it constantly.. It was our first visit to a B and B and michel has really set the bar high for the next one we try. If there was anything that I would have changed, it would be the small spiral staircase leading up to the bedroom. But if you could walk up the steps, Michel was right behind you carrying your luggage. Would definitely go back if I was in the area again.
