Les Lofts 1048

Super place! Great location. As pictured! A few stairs getting up from the street to the elevator and parking is not convienent but I imagine it’s the same for everything in the area, especially at Christmas time. Previous review mentions the shower being a challenge but we did not find this to be a problem. The bathroom door gets stuck and requires a lot of effort to open but that seems like it could be a simple fix. Would be nice to stock the kitchen with a start roll or paper towels and/or napkins. Location is perfect and loft was clean. Beds were comfortable - kids slept on sofa bed and found it far better than most sofa beds.

Great location, lots of room, no view but is  beautiful apartment .

We would recommend this property based on its location, cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort. It feels safe and it’s a good location for the old town. It’s also great to walk towards Montcalm, which is more residential and has a local population and the Art Museum is nearby. The Rue de St Jean towards the west has more restaurants and is much less touristy. The only thing to note is that the building stays very warm even if you turn the heating off, and the loft area warms up. There is an AC unit but the space is large to cool down. There is an elevator, but once inside the building, there a three steps up to the elevator. The Les Lofts team is very responsive to emails.

Loved our stay at this property! It was clean and located in the perfect location to tour old Quebec :) we hoped we could’ve stayed longer.

Overall WONDERFUL place, wonderful stay.  A couple "style points" need to be looked at to make it just that much better.  I did not receive an email with my access code or any instructions on how to get in when I arrived.  I had to call while standing in the busy street outside the building door to get the code.  There were no paper products in the kitchen.  No napkins, no paper towels, only a couple dish towels to clea up with.The only corkscrew in the kitchen was broken (I know it's hard for housekeeping to catch that if the previous guests do not tell anyone).The bed is hilarious - the frame is so loud when you sit or lay on it that you think you may fall through to the floor.  Once settled in, the bed is comfortable.  Just the framing is crazy noisy.All "little things" that would not prevent me from coming back - great location and great place, just could use a few little tune ups.

The accommodations were ABSOLUTELY excellent. The apartment was well appointed, nicely renovated and comfortable. And the location CANNOT be beat!! Right on Rue Saint-Jean, in  the heart of old Québec. We would highly recommend to family and friends.

Amazing location, right were all the restaurants and action is on rue St. Jean. Check-in was remote, we did not have any issues. Communication was quick and clear. The building has an elevator although you’ll have to go up two or three steps at the entrance. We had two carry on suitcases and a stroller and it was not an issue. The loft itself was tastefully decorated, clean and spacious. We requested a crib which was provided upon arrival. The kitchen had very basic kitchen and dinnerware which was fine for us; we dined out at least one main meal per day and would usually have something light or leftovers at the loft for the other meal. Bed was very comfortable, although the frame was quite loud and creaky. TV options are mostly in French; if you prefer a different language you have the option of signing into your personal Netflix or other streaming account. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely consider Les Lofts for a future stay!

I would definitely recommend this property, with a few caveats:PROS:-IMMACULATELY clean-In a convenient, popular shopping/dining area-Washer/dryer on premises-2 bathrooms is niceCONS:-NOT FOR SENIORS! The full bath (with tub/shower/washer/dryer) is on the second floor, which can only be reached by a narrow metal spiral staircase-The streets shut down to make it a pedestrian area after 11 am, so there's nowhere to park & unload (It would have been nice to be told this before we arrived)-The nearest parking garage is about 3 blocks away, and it's very run-down (Crumbling stairs)

Awesome Location and Loft in Old Quebec

Les Lofts 1048 was a very comfortable and convenient base for exploring this beautiful and fun city on foot. Specifically, Room 206 is beautiful, spacious, quiet and comfortable. We couldn't have wished for better.

Les Lofts 1048 is a wonderful location. A few minutes walk from Paillard, artisan boulanger pâtissier, where we had breakfast every day. Welcoming and fun restaurants like BEClub, Le Bedeau, Buvette Scott and L'Échaudé are within walking distance. The Tourist Bureau and Chateau Frontenac are a 10 minute walk. Le Ciel and the train station are short taxi rides away. Wonderful!

A very comfortable and convenient base for exploring beautiful Quebec city.

Excellent stay for a small family. Secure, elegant, all the things that one would hope for in a unit like this! The space was impeccable, great tub for soaking and space for playing, eating, and watching a movie. The space is shared in terms of light and sound, but we would come back in a heartbeat. The neighborhood and everything it has to offer is incredible. Wonderful experience for us. Covered, inexpensive parking was just a 5-minute walk. Not to mention all the things we wanted to visit accessible easily on foot.

Clean and comfortable. Check in was easy though be aware the street it is on is closed to cars during the middle of the day. The closest place to park or be dropped off is about a block away. Lots of shopping and restaurants right outside. Our unit was just as pictured on the website. It is well equipped with dishes, pots, glasses, towels, hair dryer, soap etc but you do have to bring all of your own food supplies for cooking. All that is there is 4 Nespresso pods which were not enough for our 2 days/2 adults. The building was quiet and secure and a great base for exploring Old Quebec. 

Great location and comfortable

     This beautifully open loft apartment is the perfect location for a visit to Old Quebec City and the location is absolutely one of the best features. Enjoy delicate pastries or crepes in the morning, some good pub food and a pint of the local brew for lunch, and a decent steak with a good wine all within a 5 minute walk. As for sight seeing, the ramparts of the city wall, Petit Champlain (yet MORE shopping), Citadelle de Quebec, and Chateau Frontenac (a MUST see) are all 3 - 15 minutes away. 
     The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee pot and a Nespresso machine (bring extra pods if you use it much), so eating in is an easy option. There are plenty of large arched windows to brighten the place during the day, though there's not much of a view with buildings so close together in this part of town. The furniture is very comfortable as are the beds. The place comfortably sleeps 4, though climbing up to the loft area requires going up a ladder (no stairs). 
     We found the place neat, clean, and ready when we checked in a little after 5:00. Before you get check in information (door code, keys, etc), the company requires you to email ID and some form of security deposit around 24 hours ahead. You'll have to pay for parking, but Place D'Youville has a parking garage for about $20 CAD/day. Be aware that you may need to carry your things about a 3 minute walk from parking if the road in front of the apartment is closed for major events like the summer music festival in July.  
     Our family HIGHLY recommends this as a great place to stay.

Great place for 2-4 to stay near Old Quebec City

Excellent location, on a pedestrian street in the middle of shopping, restaurants and sightseeing.  Easy walking to all of Old Town.Spacious apartment, well-appointed.  Communication was exactly as promised.Only nitpick is that cable TV flickered in and out frequently.  But we didn't spend that much time watching TV anyway.
