Manoir Charest

Was hesitant due to previous reviews, but this place was perfectly fine. Perhaps has changed ownership? I don't know, but the fellow there was very friendly and spoke English without issue. No issues checking in, and parking is available. We had a window, fan and a modern air con unit, so much better than others have made it sound. Room was very clean and it has a free help-yourself style cereal, toast, fruit breakfast. It is located well if using the bus or train station, and isn't too much of a walk to either the lower or upper old city Quebec (many stairs if going upper city though). Maybe not the perfect place for someone into 5 star or all inclusive resort hotels, but very good value for location and price.
