Heritage River Inn

The motel is only a few minutes from the Campbell River and an ideal base for a fishing holiday with other rivers and lakes within reasonable travelling distance. The 3 bedroom cabin I shared with friends was well suited to our requirements. There was a lovely wooden gazebo with an excellent gas barbecue - ideal for alfresco meals. And the kitchen was well equipped with fridge-freezer, microwave range type cooker and microwave. Good shower over the bath and comfortable beds. The breakfast room was close by with a reasonable selection of cereals, fruit, breads, croissants, etc. The drying room was particularly useful, complete with a great boot and wader dryer as well as rails and hangers for wet clothing. (Ideal for when you've fallen in the river!) The owner and staff were friendly and helpful and the room service was excellent. The prices are reasonable.
