Great location across from a mall. Clean room. The office phoned the room about a half hour after check in to make sure everything was OK. Cannot beak that kind of care and service. The room was clean and comfortable.

Had the pleasure of stay at North Star Inn hotel in Prince George and i will recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I stayed with my husband for hospital visit and location is very convenient across from the safeway and Red Robins restaurant. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and staff was helpful. They now have restaurant opened on site and it came very handy for morning breakfast.

North Star Inn is located a such a convenient location across from everything one might need. Hotel has on site restaurant, huge parking lot and friendly staff. My room seems to renovated and was very good size with balcony as bonus. Bed was comfortable and housekeeping did very good cleaning job. I will for sure recommend this hotel to everybody

I stayed here for a week for hospital operation as my husband had surgery and it turned out be pretty good experience. My room was clean, felt fresh and balcony view was awesome after spending all day the hospital. Staff was friendly and availabel 24 hours. 
I will definetly recommend this hotel to all my friends for future stays.

Yesterday checkout of this hotel with very good feeling. Amazing rooms, clean linen, and 24 hours open front desk was very helpful. Hotel seems to recently renovated and they did very good job at renovating it. Management needs to work on improving the curve appeal as the street appeal doesn't justify the quality of rooms. I have stayed at many hotels in Prince George and this is the nicest hotel I have stayed in for $90. I was surprised to find my room had living rooms and separate bedroom. Everything was nicely renovated, the staff is friendly and I will always recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. There is a lot of parking and surprisingly well very lit up parking lot. I loved their blue lights shooting up and down around the buildings.

Well, I had another reservation at another place that fell through. These guys came through for a last minute booking and it was great. They accommodated me well and everything was nice and clean. Really, based on my visit you can't go wrong here.

Had a 2nd floor balcony, but the parking lot was higher in the back. Drove right up to the door.

Very Helpful

This place really underwhelmed me. Super seedy area which was fine for one night except that when I arrived the office was locked with noone in sight. When I did get my room, it reeked of smoke so badly that I lit a candle. The air conditioning worked but was very loud. Shower had not been cleaned, was very grimy and had hair in it. Not sure if this is the standard in PG but I won’t be back.

As a relatively inexpensive town with plenty of reasonably-priced places to stay, we reckon one can hardly do much better no matter how much you’re willing to pay. Most of the other properties are equally generic and uninspiring (a wee bit like the town itself, so sorry to report), so why not save some money and give this place a chance? It feels a bit dated, but this fairly large motel delivers on most of the basics: cleanliness, adequate room temperature control, noise levels under control (despite the sketchy people outside at all hours, whom you really can’t ever escape from completely in this town, to be honest), reasonably comfortable bed, good toilet pressure and water temperature controls in the bathroom, decent lighting options in the room, enough electrical outlets to charge your piles of modern junk, workable wi-fi, decent housekeeping, and generally helpful staff.

It probably doesn't get much better elsewhere

Very nice service at front desk. Awful room. Very old carpet. Musky smell. No screen door for balcony. Loose toilet seat. Wall is patched but not sanded or painted.  Poor pressure in the shower. Don’t recommend. Stay at Econo Lodge down the street with clean and somewhat renovated rooms. Similar price.
