Prince Edward

We were two couple enjoying a weekend get away to Prince Edward County.  The Edwardian is centrally located in Picton and within walking distance to the downtown area and many restaurants.  The rooms, beds , etc were well kept and comfortable.  One of our rooms had an ensuite bath, will the others each have a private bathroom.  For these rooms they supply bathrobes to move around upstairs.
We had a quaint sitting are outside our room where we had access to a small refrigerator, coffee pot, tea, etc.
Breakfasts were home made and plentiful.  The owners were quite nice and accommodated safe storage of our bicycles.
We will most certainly be back.

Weekend Get Away

Just spent the weekend at this lovely B & B. It is immaculate and hosts are top notch.  Who needs lunch when you have a delicious, filling homemade breakfast.  They are very accommodating and thoughtful.  First morning I asked for lemon water.  The following morning it was sitting on the table at my spot.  Nice touch.  It is close to everything and you can walk to town to the restaurants.  Property is stunning and I felt like I was at home.  There is a fridge where you can store your wine :) I would definitely stay here again next time we are in Picton.

Fabulous Bed & Breakfast

The house owners are lovely couple, so kind and very cute. The house is actually a lot nicer than the photos. Although it is a over 100 years old house, the house itself is very very clean and beautiful. 
It is next to the lake and waling distance to DT.

Great experience

Very comfortable room in a lovely historic home.
We enjoyed the large living/dining room space in the evening (planning our next travel day).
Our room had a covered, outside balcony that we enjoyed in the evening.
Lovely street with lots of other historic homes.

Nice historic property

At the end of July we went to Picton, Ontario, Canada to sample the wine route. My wife and I stayed at the B&B “The Edwardian”. We stayed there a few times in the past when it was run by another couple. Silvina and Paul who now own the place are just as nice. Picton is a 4 hour drive from our place so before we left my wife prepared a “picnic lunch” to eat when we arrived around noon. When we told Paul we wanted to eat in the gazebo he (dropped everything, he as working outside) ensured that the furniture was clean and that we weren’t missing anything like forks, napkins, etc.

We stayed in the “Ross” room which is the only one that has a private bathroom. The other rooms have a common bathroom but for us it is no big deal as we tried all the other rooms in the past. The breakfast is copious and very delicious. You will leave breakfast with a full stomach and a satisfied tongue. The Edwardian only offers 3 modes of payment namely cash, cheque and Bank Interac payment, no credit card. 

The B&B is very well situated : 15 minutes drive to Sandbanks beach, close to the cheese factory, the vinegar factory, the mushroom factory and naturally all the vineyards in the area. We recommend to everybody.
