Bellmere Winds Golf Resort

Beautiful cottage resort our hockey team loved staying at. Having evening camp fires and afternoon fishing was perfect. I wish we had time for golf, the course looks amazing. My only complaint is that the resort is huge and they have little to no walking trails connecting the 2 areas together, it was faster to drive and that's not ideal.

This course is obsoletely beautiful. Not a bad view on the course. The greens are so challenging and are worthy of scratch golfers play. Staff are very friendly. Especially the starter, marshal and cart guy.

play and stay Golf at Bellmere Winds, very nice accommodations , friendly staff , easy check in , I booed two cottages for 8 Golfers , it was a amazing deal and fun had by all. We will recommend to others and also return next year

Incredible experience! The accommodation and golf course were amazing and a great value. We will be returning without a doubt.
The staff were as friendly as can be and all went above and beyond to ensure our experience was great.  

The staff, course & accommodations were all great. Had a little problem with the early check in, but the staff quickly rectified it. The greens on the course where in great shape. I had no complaints about anything that weekend. This is a destination  I will defiantly re-visit. The accommodations where very clean when we arrived. When they say to just bring linens, thats all you need to bring. They where well supplied.

Well our weekend of golf is finished and I can't say enough about our experience this year. We have done this Stay and Play once before and enjoyed it but I must say this time your staff from the reservation people on the phone, to dealing with the staff and Scott setting up tee times at the course was a total Breeze. Nothing was ever too much trouble and every staff member we met greeted us with a smile. The accommodations were fine and we were quite pleased with our stay. Six of our players were new to the course and were suitably impressed. The golf course  was in very good shape  considering  the amount of rain we've had in the last few weeks . We will definitely be back.

I had such an amazing time here at Bellmere winds. The staff are so friendly and they treat you amazing. They will do anything they can to make your visit that much more enjoyable and easy going. It is a very clean resort and has a ton of things to do with very reasonable prices. They also have a ton of things that are included with your stay that are completely free. The beach is nice and clean too. This is my first time staying here but my family and I will definitely come back. Thank you so much for having us!

Thank you Maddie for looking after our family and making sure we could use kayaks when there was an early shutdown on the kayaks and canoes. Lots to do from kayaking, tennis , swimming and even fishing off dock on last day. Nice environment with friendly people. Nice golf course, very challenging. Even got help from one of the residents when we found ourselves with a flat tire on last day there.

Great Blue Resorts - Bellmere Winds Resorts.   Like to  give a shout out to Arika Brown  who checked us in and Kalista Childs who looked after our golf needs. First time we stayed at this resort, had a wonderful time enjoyed the beach, pools and especially the splash pad/pool in Phase 2.  Would most likely return.

Golf course and public grounds were nice as were the two small pools. There is a small beach on the lake, but it is right next to the marina.The mobile home unit we rented was not cleaned well with a bag full of garbage (with cigarette butts) left in the closet and garbage left around and in the outdoor fire pit.  The mattress covers provided had stains on them.  The information on Expedia was incorrect (Expedia booking said I had until July 16 for free cancellation, meanwhile the property itself demanded full payment with no cancellation according to their policy on July 6 and took it by phone or else would not honour the reservation).  I also would have appreciated a heads up that the grounds were under considerable construction (a whole new section of the mobile home units were being constructed at the time of our stay directly next to our unit) which made for a very dusty and loud stay.  Luckily we had bedding with us from a previous part of our road trip, but the Expedia information on the unit did not mention that bedding and towels needed to be provided by the guest, nor did the booking information when I paid the resort before my stay.  The unit was to accommodate up to 6 people but the kitchen was lacking (e.g. only two forks in the whole drawer, not enough glasses). Given that the closest restaurant was at least 15-18 minutes away, some sort of snack bar or restaurant on the property would have been nice since it is billed as a resort. Value for money was low.

Amazing Value 

Course was OK. Traps were unplayable because of weeds, rocks and no rakes. Cart paths needed attention. No ball washers. Our Stay & Play package was supposed to include unlimited golf, but this was not the case. You could only book extra golf after you finished your first round, and only if there were any openings available. Trailer was in new phase with construction ongoing. Dump trucks, excavators, back up horns and lots of dust all day long. Bathroom was filthy, deck and lawn chairs were covered in dust and we had to clean them everyday if we wanted to use them.
